The team's reaction after the ball went over Goffin's head and Murray collapsed to the floor reminded me a bit of the scenes of the '98 play-off final!!

Really like Andy Murray. Like his attitude, he just gets on with performing his sport at the highest level he can. I also think he has quite a droll sense of humour. I know not everyone likes him but personally I think he is one of the true British sporting greats of my lifetime, and outside football, possibly my favourite sportsman.
Well done that man.

On paper he should win each of the singles and doubles he played but to play three matches in three days must be draining. Fantastic achievement.

For me the Davis Cup team just about shades the England Women football world cup team purely because they won.

Brilliant achievement, agree that Murray is now surely to be considered one of the greatest British sportsmen of all time (and surely the greatest Scottish sportsman). I think if he can add a couple more slams he'll be pretty much the pinnacle.
