I don't have so many now, but when I lived in Singapore I had about 30 pairs. Now I am down to 10. I do find it hard not to buy, I probably look every weekend especially Adidas gazelles.

Jesus some of you would have enough to buy Charlton if you didn't buy so many shoes.
Who the fuck collects shoes
They're shoes ffs.
How many shirts, ties, jeans, trousers etc do you own? If its more than what is absolutely necessary ie 7 total tops and 7 total bottoms, then why do you?
It's led me to have a count up of my footwear last night.
16 pairs of trainers 4 pairs of timberlands 4 pairs of shoes
He'd have reason to cause us weird if he read this thread... His input would be the fact you only need one pair of shoes and a local B&Q for emergency repairs

Wow. Well, this thread has really surprised me, and made me feel ancient. I had no idea people collected/ bought so many trainers. I definitely march in East Stand Loopy's footsteps here, and he pretty much sums up the extent of my footwear, apart from one addition I have - Wellington boots
Few years back I needed a new pair, think mine had a hole in or something, went to the shop (wearing the worn trainers), saw same pair on sale so just bought them. Sales guy noticed, looked at me like I was a freak.
I am trainer rich at the moment, probably have 7 or 8 pairs. This is due to the January sales and the fact I hate shopping so bought in bulk sufficient to get me through the next 5 years, having finally gone through the last pair I bought 5 years before.
