In other news, Charlton are expected to appoint Karl Robinson to replace Russell Slade.stonemuse said:Gone to Burton Albion on loan, would have had him here, pity.

Surprisingly Ipswich are still easily the team he played most games for, followed by Derby1

Dazza has come out of retirement to join Wycombe Wanderers, at the age of 35. Best of luck, Benty.

I see there's been no official announcement from the club over this, but Akinfenwa and Bent up top would be some partnership in League One if true.

One last job: denying Ipswich the title. Almost pointedly spiteful haha0

Not played for a year and a half, and when I've seen him on TV he's looked "retired" too...0

going for a last medal before death1

Do Wycombe have a injury crisis with their Strikers?
Ainsworth seems to be doing a cracking job there (continuing to pray that a team dont snap him up) so cant see him signing Bent for the sake of it
League One does seem extremely weak this year when you look at the table
Wycombe have a four point lead minimum and thats only if Ipswich win their game in hand, lost just the one game all season!!0 -
I can think of a team that might go for him, especially if they lose at home to Charlton tomorrow1

Rich new owners, I'm sure Ainsworth is happy to stick around. And promotions on your CV and indeed as a life achievement are a rarity, Nathan Jones threw that away by joining Stoke2
