I've put 0 against matches I think are all but guaranteed losses.
  • I actually see Rotherham only getting one more point. Home v Reading. Going to be very tight but that one point might just be enough.

If we roll over to Fulham, they can repeat the favour for Rotherham (and Wigan just in case).

That's killed them. They're as good as gone now.

Not wise / good to count chickens.

Millwall now need to win 3 of there last 6 games just to get out of the relegation zone (2 wins and a draw isn't enough due to poor goal difference)

They then need to match whatever Rotherham / Fulham pick up between now and the end of the season in addition to those 3 wins so in reality they're looking at 4 wins minimum and only allowing for Rotherham to pick up 4 points at most from there last 5 games and can you really see 4 wins out of these 6 games?

    Watford (H)
    Wigan (H)
    Cardiff (A)
    Blackburn (A)
    Derby (H)
    Wolves (A)

Agreed it's not wise to count chickens but Rotherham's game today was effectively a six-pointer as Millwall could have been 4 points behind them with a game in hand but now they are back to 7 points adrift with Friday's win effectively cancelled out. Millwall have it all to do now.

Wigan is win or bust for both teams, Cardiff are struggling (they lost 3-0 to Bolton today), Blackburn may have nothing to play for, or could even be in the FA Cup final, Derby or Wolves could be out of playoff contention by then, OR guaranteed a playoff place, and hence resting players.
What might be interesting, is Millwall needing a result against Wolves to stay up, a Wolves team managed by Kenny Jackett!

    Shame about Rotherham.

Might not be all bad. May give Wigan at bit of hope when they play the scum on Tues. Wigan will be 7pts behind Rotherham (albeit with 1 game less than Millwall to play), but so are Millwall.

Love seeing this shitty club back down the lower reaches of the football league. Just beating Charlton isn't enough to keep them up, there are 22 other teams in the division.

    Come on Wigan!!!!!!

There's a stupid slogan that keeps doing the rounds on LinkedIn - price is only an issue in the absence of value.

Roughly equated to Millwall's plight, at the end of the season, all they have is a cheap win over Charlton.

Any goal against that shit stain of a football club is a good one as far as I am concerned!

    Millwall relegation watch.

    Yep - I'm still watching.

And yep - the pikey, chavvy, filth of the earth shit stains are still going down.

Would gladly take us losing every game 4 nil from now to the end of the season if it meant those turds vanished down to league 1.

(Games to play-points above relegation-goal difference)

    Brighton 4 9 -7
    Fulham 4 9 -21
    Rotherham 4 7 -22
    ------
    Wigan 4 0 -20
    Millwall 5 0 -32

    Brighton:
    Huddersfield (H)
    Wigan (A)
    Watford (H)
    Boro (A)

    Fulham:
    Rotherham (H)
    Blackpool (A)
    Boro (H)
    Norwich (A)

    Rotherham:
    Fulham (A)
    Norwich (H)
    Reading (H)
    Leeds (A)

    Wigan:
    Millwall (A)
    Brighton (H)

    Wolves (H)
    Brentford (A)

    Millwall:
    Wigan (H)
    Cardiff (A)
    Blackburn (A)
    Derby (H)
    Wolves (A)

Every team has at least one game against another in this mini group. Wigan have two.

Looking at the fixtures, it'll be 99% settled after 44 games. Only Rotherham will look at their final two fixtures and think they are winnable.

    Rotherham:

    Brighton H
    Middlesbro A
    Fulham A
    Norwich H
    Reading H
    Leeds A

    Millwall:

    Watford H
    Wigan H
    Cardiff A
    Blackburn A
    Derby H
    Wolves A

Reading those fixtures has cheered me up. Bye bye Neanderthals.
