(Games to play-points above relegation-goal difference)

    Brighton 4 9 -7
    Fulham 4 9 -21
    Rotherham 4 7 -22
    ------
    Wigan 4 0 -20
    Millwall 5 0 -32

    Brighton:
    Huddersfield (H)
    Wigan (A)
    Watford (H)
    Boro (A)

    Fulham:
    Rotherham (H)
    Blackpool (A)
    Boro (H)
    Norwich (A)

    Rotherham:
    Fulham (A)
    Norwich (H)
    Reading (H)
    Leeds (A)

    Wigan:
    Millwall (A)
    Brighton (H)

    Wolves (H)
    Brentford (A)

    Millwall:
    Wigan (H)
    Cardiff (A)
    Blackburn (A)
    Derby (H)
    Wolves (A)

Every team has at least one game against another in this mini group. Wigan have two.

Looking at the fixtures, it'll be 99% settled after 44 games. Only Rotherham will look at their final two fixtures and think they are winnable.

Looking at those fixtures you really can't see anyway Wigan or MIllwall will be able to do enough to save themselves. Millwall would be doing extremely well to get to 43 points from their next three games but that would only be enough to equal Rotherham's current points total and those final two games are potential nightmares at this point in the season.
  • Looking grim for Millwall but I'm not counting my chickens. I still think they will be in it on the last day.

It's now 3 wins needed from 5 games to get out of the relegation zone. Even if they do win on Tuesday they will still need to win another 2 more minimum from the last 4 - of which 3 of those will be away from home. I can't see them turning this around.
  • Tough.

I'm still wary , can see Rotherham losing 3 and drawing 1
    I fear the filth
Wigan done em at Wembley in JPT and FA Cup semi so the scum owe em one and are bound to fluke a filthy victory against them to give themselves hope
Come on football gods send the devils spawn into footballing hell

  • Rotherham are decent enough at home and will beat a Reading side with nothing to play for.

Leeds will also happily let them have a point at Elland Rd on the final day if it means sending Millwall down

Yes but then that's another game they can't lose meaning they can only budget for one more loss. Winning 3 gives them more breathing space.

Either way they also need Rotherham to pack up for there summer holidays now and I can't see that happening either they will pick up points too.

They were dead certs to go down as of about 3 weeks ago. Even their own fans know that. Fact remains that they still mugged us off. Them going down doesn't soften the blow one bit for me. If anything it makes it worse as it means we don't get the chance to have another go at them next season.

Why would we want another go at them next season?? - they'd only beat us.
Now . if they go down, at least its 6 points more we might get.

I think I'm in your camp, I want to keep having a go until we finally beat them, then they can get relegated.

Bollocks to that. I want them consigned to the deeper depths of the football league, where they belong, and the sooner the better.

Millwall with a pretty bad goal difference and 7 points adrift of safety and 8 if take goal difference into acount. With only six games left. Six games to recover 8 points? Bit of a tall order I think.

I think there's 3 of us who want them to stay up because we're desperate to beat them. Most others want them to go "down down deeper and down."

As i said to my Therapist, how can i every have closure until we beat them.
Her reply was, do i really want to suffer for another 20 years !

That fuckin 'let 'em come' song was still running round my head all last week. (Didn't help cycling in to town via Old Kent Road twice).

Of course normal service was resumed when they played Watford ffs.

Just want to beat the pricks.

It's all they've got. They literally have nothing else in their history other than the fact they always beat us. Yes it's infuriating and I wish our record was better, but I also find it quite funny. Their simple little heads after beating us probably thought they were about to spark some revival. When they all piled out of the den on Good Friday, ready to go home and get their wives to dress up as Kellie Maloney before a night out in the Old Kent Road reminiscing about 'meet ups' in days gone by. That lost soul with the roll neck up at Rotherham, who got dressed up to almost get through the police barrier and shout a few swear words.

    Their lives are empty.
