1m for Bahebek lol . Like a piss into the ocean for PSG that, we're barking up the wrong tree and wasting our time and resources.

    Eh?

Major clubs sell minor players for small fees all the time.

It's all relative, like Charlton selling a player for 50k.

If they feel like he's not gonna make the grade and will be released at the end of his contract then why not stop paying his wages now and make a £1m while they're at it?

The trouble is Bahebeck's value has gone up and he can't stop scoring in pre season. Arsenal were interested in signing him but weren't too impressed with the 50 per cent sell on clause.

Reckon w could get him for about 2.5mil but I doubt we will pay that

I think this is now all about Reza. Perhaps there is something on offer to move Reza on but we need / want a replacement first. Might be an interesting week.

Bahebek has already made the grade. PSG will have turned a blind shoulder to that offer.

They may come back with a minimum offer or perhaps suggest a loan.

    Unlucky Palace...

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/tottenham-hotspur/10979119/Tottenham-to-sign-Ben-Davies-and-Michel-Vorm-with-Gylfi-Sigurdsson-and-5m-heading-Swanseas-way.html

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign defender Ben Davies and goalkeeper Michel Vorm with Gylfi Sigurdsson returning to Swansea City.

The complicated arrangement was struck while both clubs were in the United States on pre-season tours. Other than getting midfielder Sigurdsson back, Swansea will bank around £5m.

Tottenham had seen a bid to land Davies and Vorm in a straight swap for Sigurdsson rejected by Swansea.

But chairmen Daniel Levy and Huw Jenkins eventually settled on a transfer that is thought to value both Davies and Sigurdsson at £10m, and Vorm at £5m.

Why would Vorm want to go to Spurs? Is Lloris leaving?

We need Bahebeck to kick up a fuss in order to force his dream move to Charlton

He has made 19 appearances for PSG so hopefully he'll want a 'new challenge'.

    I agree .

Seems like Prem clubs want 3 Keepers these days . Even we had 3 International stoppers for most of Curb's last season Andersen, Kiely and Myrhe.

The Champs Elysees or the Woolwich New Road? Now there's a PR challenge for you...

Leicester are reportedly ready to listen to offers for striker Chris Wood, with Wolves & a number of other Championship sides interested.

come on RD put a bid in
  • I'd like to think that RD would be willing to spend a couple of million on him considering he's only 22 and if he scores 20 odd goals his value would probably double within a year.
  • Reza out for £5M to sell shirts at a larger club and funds reinvested into Wood and Baheback please RD.

Didn't Wood just sign a new contract with Leicester?

Wood would cost serious money and come with big wages. Doubt he fits RD's signing profile.
  • I don't think RD minds spending money if it's on a young player where we're likely to sell them on for more money which would probably be the case with Wood.
  • Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the proposition Bahebeck finds himself involved in. Living in Paris, playing for one of the richest and biggest clubs in the world, and potentially moving to South London and playing for Charlton Athletic. If he signs he should be taken to bedlam immediately

Bahebeck is certainly an ambitious move but at this point in the clubs development one that seems highly unlikely.

How many games does he get at PSG with all the superstars that they have? What sort of salary is he on?

If we match his salary demands then he may come as he would probably get more game time with us.

Let's not lose sight that the Parc des Princes is in South West Paris. It is not sat under the Eiffel Tower. In other words, Bahebeck would be weighing up a move to London, rather than stay in Paris. Playing at a London club could be the shop window for Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham etc to take a closer interest and he and his agent will know that. It won't be a Les Champs Élysées versus Greenwich Park decision, of that I would be confident.
