  • With just two weeks to go until pre-season, we urgently need more Belgian players we have never heard of and at least two with ridiculous names.

Although not Belgian, you can't beat Fanni.

We are seriously interested in Frank Moussa and vincolet, babel isnt going to happen and never was

I know you can't give names but how credible is your source? Can you give us any examples when he's been ahead of the game?
I normally go off what he/she says, 80-90% of the time they are right,

Not saying its 100% but high chance

    Was right about O'Grady

Said about Roland and Riga issue

I never posted it but he told me Jackson Signed a 2 year deal start off week before it was announced.

Also told me we was in for a striker in which i posted

Fair enough dude, just curious. I hope they are on the money here as both of those would be assets I reckon.
  • Peeters Highly rates Harry Lennon aswell, and thinks he is ready..

but we are looking for a CB

I always appreciate your info CBB, but how would Peeters know that much about Lennon when they players aren't back at training yet?

Has he even seen him play?!?!?!

EDIT - See VG has just said the same - agree with above.

Isn't it about time we signed William Vainqueur from Standard Liege?

Maybe the coaches have told Peeters that Lennon is ready?

Possibly but thats not how CBB's post reads. Plus the coaches are new to Peeters as much as the players, you'd think he'd wanna see Lennon in action for a few games himself.

Maybe he's been watching plenty of the U21's game footage.

I have a feeling Peeters knew he was going to be manager for some time and has had players watched or even been able to watch a few games himself and us you say he has more than likely watched dvd's of all our games and u21 games.

    Imagine.

Well, you can, but I think there are specialist websites for that kind of thing.

Do you mean Ouanquer? They are from the Francophone area, I believe.

  • Willi Wanqueur has a big following in that part of the world I understand and would fit in nicely with the new owner's philosophy
  • Vainqeuer and Batsuyai were probably SL's best players last season, no chance of him joining us
  • Other deals

Our former star Kyle Reid has joined Preston.

Two names that have appeared here over the past few windows Luke Freeman and Conor Henderson have joined Bristol City and Crawley respectively.

Freeman stays in League One , maybe he is not as good as some have said. I only saw Henderson play in his one appearance in Arsenal's first team against Orient in the Cup, but I thought he was better than League One.
  • Where's Eisfeld and Coquellin nowadays? 2 promising arsenal midfielders who a couple of years ago I would have loved to come to us, instead we got Frimponged
  • Heard that the Origami deal has been scrapped..

  • Freeman gone somewhere in league 1 thank god totally over rated due to a few cup games

  • We had talks with Hendersons agent but never went back with a firm offer.
  • Henderson has been plagued by injuries hasnt he?
  • Izale Mcleod has signed for Crawley too

    gone to france
  • Brentford agree fee with Luton for Andre Grey. Highly rated, could be a good signing for da Bees.

Depending on the fee it's a bit of a Chris Dickson style punt. I wouldn't think he was huge money and therefore it's definitely worth a risk. Given we just lumped a couple of million on a player I would like to think we are not fishing in that pool any more
  • Would say the Andre Gray deal is more like Stuart Fleetwood... Dickson was coming from a lower level whilst Fleets had the pressure of having scored loads at a higher level

Surprised Brentford lost Clayton Donaldson on a bosman to Birmingham... probably a similar case to Diego Poyet and us (although I wouldnt be surprised if Brentford finished above Birmingham this season)

Birmingham are a basket case but they are a bigger club than Brentford. They've also made a fair few signings in close season.

  • hardly the same as Donaldson is 30 and probably after one last hoorah.
