No, not a wind up that's going to link to another club. It's on our official Twitter, where does he play? I know nowt about him.

  • Pacy forward Zak is another product of Arsenal’s Hale End Academy who has made his mark in the reserves.
He made steady progress in Arsenal's academy last term after recovering from a serious knee injury that brought his 2011/12 season to an early end. Zak was included in Arsene Wenger's squad for the Champions League game against Olympiacos and was on target in the 4-2 win over Atletico Bilbao in the NextGen Series.

  • He's a forward. Going into the Development Squad, though. 21 and Jason Euell really rates him.

  • More good news. Welcome Zak!
  • Also, isn't Zak?
  • He's better than what we have at club.

  • Any relation to Andy?
  • Positive signing, need a few more now.
  • Was it not a strong rumour that he was coming to us last summer on loan for the season?

Good to see him here finally, hopefully we get his career back on track.
  • His old man is Andy 'Unbelievable Tekkers' Ansah. Supports Charlton and mates will Euell and Powell. Favour for a friend? Ex Arsenal so yeah worth a punt

    He's his son.

    yeah he is Andy's son.
  • And considering my brother has played with Diego Poyet too there's a chance that one day he could have played with two Charlton first teamers, bloody mental.
  • Didn't we come close to signing Andy Ansah from Southend back in the early 90s?

  • He won't have far to drive for training.

Pretty sure I read in an interview he had with Valley review , where he said he was on the verge of signing for us but we had to use his transfer fee to fix the flood lights!
  • that is so underwhelming all this time we have been waiting for something to happen,
then when it does it is this, seriously how will he improve our attack
  • Nothing to get excited about, enough fannying about roly poly give us some first team strength and we can start to gather some optimism and buy into what you're doing here

A young kid who has come through all the academy ranks at Arsenal and made the bench in a Champions League game - don't you think he might, just might, be good enough to be an effective Championship player? Jase thinks so and that's good enough for me.
made the bench, never played loads of players have made the bench, when Arsenal had already qualified so Wenger did not want to take his key players to Greece and he still never played
  • Better than Church
  • Very happy with that. Welcome Zak and best of luck.
