They need to have trained staff who know what they are doing. in the West Upper every game it is new staff who are totally untrained each time which slows the whole processes down. for example knowing where the hot drinks cups and in what order they are in would speed things up, just an example.

Probably on minimum wage and a zero hours contract, you pay peanuts...................
I don't blame the staff - its the quality I have issues with. I get Stadium food is going to be more expensive - but I accept that if the quality is there. Just look at the OB Burger from the upbeats - 10/10 every time so it can be done
Bread and water. Nobody in their right mind would invite me round for anything. I think there might be some other people who are not keen on onions, but not Sean Clare who is cool because he is vegan.
I wonder what me, Mickey Herbert and Danny Fuckabout, would of had, whilst dicking around in the Covered End in 1978, the Negroamaro OR something from the Western Cape, like the Boatman's Drift Chenin Blanc?
But probably the most logistically and commercially viable for the catering company (Mitie?).
All from one supplier (Heineken UK) under one supply contract with "safe" brands that customers recognise, and contracted across multiple sites that they operate. Mass catering has its compromises.
Even if they were willing to consider a more "attractive" portfolio of brands, it would be the case that any marginal gains in consumer sentiment and revenue would be far outweighed by logistical complexity and supply cost.

But I tend to agree, not the best...
I’m sure you’re right about the commercial viability, but it seems strange that clubs who are much bigger than us, like Tottenham, can offer good beer and so can clubs much smaller than us, like Dulwich Hamlet.
We are in the midst of the biggest local brewing boom for centuries in London, yet we bring in slop from Australia, Denmark and Yorkshire.
I guess it’s just easier to get it all from one company, especially if you don't care what you serve your customers as long as they pay.

It would be good, for example, if the Upbeats' Bhaji Burgers could also be sold in the North Stand bar.
I wish the single veggie option wasn’t based on onions personally as I don’t like them, but at least it’s available for those that do.
Fuck inviting you round for dinner? 🤨🤨🤨
