Sound like Statler and Waldorf critiquing the show. "Ah it was awful, it was terrible, hmmm, perhaps it not that bad, it was great!". I don't watch it though.
Well I did not see the first show, but I thought last night was ok in parts. The film sequence was fairly entertaining, the star in a car was a bit stilted in parts but ok. Matt Le Blanc is better than I thought he would be, Chris Evans looks a bit odd, and it felt at times like a tame jolly with nice lunches for everybody. I thought the format with the previous encumbents was getting to look a little jaded tbh but it was a huge money spinner for the Beeb, so I guess they wanted to keep a winning formula. The new show still has to find its feet, but it might evolve into a fairly decent show, if it can come up with a couple of distinctive ideas of its own to start to set it apart from the original.
I thought it was better too - being honest. Yes, you can see the same script workers behind things! Bringing in a guest as the third person not a bad idea - might find one with the right chemistry to make it permanent. Le Blanc a great addition - Evans hasn't convinced me yet! But I'm willing to see how it develops.
It was much better than last week. They need to scrap the 5 mins they get the guests talking about their first car. They can talk about their car fine but do we really need the audience voting? What does that achieve.

That's the thing, I think he does radio well but I am really struggling to like him in a car. Joey from friends is good though. And I wish they'd let the YouTube guy do the reviews
I loved last night's episode, really made me laugh. I suspect a lot of it is whether you like Chris Evans or not. I've long been a fan, Big Breakfast, TFI Friday - and last night he was much more relaxed than the first one and much more himself. It's a bit of a masterstroke allowing flexibility with the presenters, as with the South African challenge last night, and it was refreshing to have some different humour.
Matt Leblanc really makes it though. Someone somewhere should get a big bonus for thinking of him.
Just watched the 2nd one, much better. Found the majority very enjoyable. The sofa chat dragged on a bit IMO but other than that was good. I think Matt is a find for the show, Eddie Jordan and Jenson Button both good too.
Having moaned about Clarkson I have since watched most of the last series and several specials and enjoyed them.
I think it will take a few episodes to settle in but so far I am enjoying the new version - that said I like Chris Evans and in spite of my previous comments think Matt Le Blanc is surprisingly good.
Will also watch Clarksons new offering on Amazon however. .
I got halfway through the second episode and was so bored I deleted it and scrapped my series link. They should have revamped the show instead of imitating it.

Did exactly the same off the sky planner and probably won't watch it again until Evans has at least gone.

And what was it with his hair?
Insightful shit.
(Had to edit due to fat finger misspelling)
Are you sure Eddie Jordan has a syrup?
Would have preferred some more comparative stats on the three SUVs other than just the engine sizes.

Ha, Eddie Jordan. What an absolute numpty.

Le Blanc is better in the films off the cuff. He is just a bit wooden when reciting lines (bit of a suprise really).
I also dont like all the cheering etc from the crowd, just seems all a bit too american/fake/tfi for me.

The foreign trips have always been the best episodes, but had got a bit samey under the old three.
The Eddie Jordan stuff cracked me up, and that road at the end was incredible. I'd have been gutted not to get a Seasick Steve gig in that pub though!
That was the only laugh I had from the program.
