I'm laughing here, but am not entirely sure why!
Because a concrete bunker can't actually talk. Pretending one can is funny.

(Or maybe it looks like Rod Stewart).

Having read some of the stuff this fella is alleged to have said / done , I’m glad they’ve got him off the telly.

Im Sure he’ll pop up somewhere, but at least he’s been caught out whilst he’s alive and embarrassed, unlike Mr Harrods  or Jimmy Saville.

Hope it helps more people to have the courage to come forward and bring this stuff to light.

I mean, come on, the bloke is clearly a twat and has got to a point where he things he can say what he wants, but (at the moment) there is absolutely no comparison to the two people you have mentioned.  Some context. please.
Not comparing what they’ve done, more the fact all came to light after they’d passed away, if someone’s acting like a dickhead, and thinks their completely untouchable with what they’ve done say and do, then . They’ve got it coming to them, and I have no sympathy for them.
  • Always disappointing to hear of people with fame and influence abusing it and behaving inappropriately, but when they get called on it, it’s satisfying to see their fall from grace.

Apart from these recent allegations, I’m pretty sure Gregg Wallace has had a reputation for some years now for being a self important, obnoxious, uppity prick. This is not just with the public, but also with other ‘celebrities’.
He’s always looked totally out of his depth when appearing on shows outside his comfort zone (anything other than Masterchef) and comes across as thin-skinned and bitter. I’ve always felt that it looks like others on shows are merely tolerating him. Some have definitely ripped the piss out of him and he’s squirmed angrily and impotently because he doesn’t have the wit to counter or the grace to take the ribbing.

I don’t watch MasterChef, so don’t see much of him on tv, but if his tv career is over, I won’t miss his smug potato face.

I am not defending his actions but he looks anything but “thin skinned and bitter” on Inside the Factory

Always has a smile on his face, plenty of jokes with the staff and always willing to have a go on the production line and make himself look silly due to inexperience

'Inexperience'?....... well he started in 2005 on Masterchef, and I took photographs  of him in 2006, he had been on several programmes before that, and been in the Food industry for years. Whether you are 21 or 81, you should be aware of your behaviour, especially in regard to being in a position of responsibility. I have never personally heard anything about the bloke, in regard to his conduct, let's hope there is a transparent investigation for all concerned.

I was referring to his inexperience on the production line in the factory he was visiting, not his career

I am not aware of that, when I occasionally watch it they must be old episodes

Blimey, if he lived across the pond he could have been in line for a job in the next administration.

The new series hasn’t been released but he’s been replaced. He’s also had problems when a guest on other BBC shows. Seems like he’s just a bit of a wrongun from the sounds of it

Oh is that it? Absolutely pathetic.
  • Thing is Gregg you might have been having an innocent "joke" and didn't want to harass anyone, but the world has moved on.  Be a geezer if you want but only with like minded people. I love a joke but would be a ashamed if one of my Dad Jokes offended one person out of 4000.

    Prince Andrew's PR agency presumably...

Jeez, the arrogance and ego of him screams out.
