I actually smiled when I saw that picture of the flag outside the training ground, I hope, but doubt they left it there, it could have come in use for something.......
Not sure it was this morning. I'm pretty sure I've seen that picture before today.
No. It was this morning. He was working on a house a few doors along from the training ground. Bought the flag last night. Admits it was a bit muggy, but seeing as he was over there anyway thought why not? Was only up for an hour or so when one of the local residents came and took it down. A Charlton fan apparently. Probably burnt it.

Was it Big Mak in the crowd or someone who looks a lot like him, but a bit shorter ?
Back row of the lower tier towards the Sainsburys end.
Yes it was, a lot people getting selfies with him, also saw him on train getting there.
If he is injured then standing up for 2 hours and dodging smoke grenades, beer bottles etc can't be good for him.
Wonder what he made of it all ?
I hope Simon Mak was in the back row because i had two 6ft 2in people in front and to the left of me and i struggled to see Bergdich all 1st half. Joe Pigott was a few rows in front of me and trust he wasn't stopped by the police driving home in his flash car because he would've smelt of Drink ! Even thou he was only drinking coffee.
I have to say they were two of the softest penalty decisions I've ever seen!!! No strength from the forward its like playing a four year old and nudging him off the ball. As unfair as that seems, well in the rules!!!
Not being funny but Crystal Palace is not South London. It is Surrey, and I'm not just saying it to take the p***. It is not London. We are number 1 in South London (not that I really care), and Millwall are behind us.
Worst thing about this is that I haven't even got much stick from mates or at work, just pity. That's how you know the gap between us is really growing.

Croydon isn't London granted but Crystal Palace area is SE19 Selhurst park is on the border of SE25 So is still South London so = South London's Number 1 Not that I care either I live on the South coast but was nice to reiterate that number 1 fact tho

Geography lessons from a Nigel. If you are under 30 it's easy to forget we ruled the roost for four years when we played there and have a good idea where it is.
Yep it's the arse end of nowhere , the black hole of south London It may be near as the crow flies But it takes forever to get there by car , bus or train I mean the south frigging circular , the no.75 bus And having to get a train up to London and back It's so near yet so farking far And having commuted there from SE9 throughout the Lennie years I should know No wonder they think Brighton is a derby cos it's quicker to get there from selhurst than it is to the rest of south London civilisation
Can only imagine the level of banter that must fly around among this esteemed group of intellectuals.
I can understand why we would think this is not funny but to be honest I think it is. I don't like being the bit of someone else's jokes but, frankly, it is funny.
We lauded it over them for years when roles were reversed so we have to suck it up now.
I just can't stop thinking about that game with Sheff Weds when one of them was going to be relegated back when they were, financially, on their knees. If they'd lost that game they'd be in the third or fourth division now. The whole administration and conning Selhurst out of the Bank owned by the taxpayers grates on me, but realistically (albeit with the luck of winning those playoffs) they have been well run since then and they are, for now, an established Premier League side and much, much stronger than us.
If anything it is flattering that they would bother to care about beating us, in a competition that they could well go on to win.

I blame Leon Clarke. Scored for Weds, kicked the advertising hoarding to celebrate and broke his toe. Wot a nob.

Not sure how things will change.
