I'd be much happier with it, he's done well there and despite how awful he was as a player for us, he knows the club, and would immediately get the respect of the players. Easy to forget what a good player he was before his time with us.

We have KF as manager for the foreseeable future / until he messes-up. Any club talk of KF as "Temporary" is just Roland speak - he is just the next off the production line of second rate European coaches, and he will be in place until RD decides to change.

Gut reaction is that yes this a smokescreen. I expect a few more of this type of rumour to be banded about. It's going to be Carol until the next no mark from the matrix strolls up in about 5 months

Very interesting that. We struggle for goals, but one of our biggest problems is we have good defenders but a poor defence. From that it looks like Hasselbaink knows how to organise a defence, so getting the most out of Henderson, Solly, Diarra, Bauer and Fox could see us stop the rot entirely.
