I can't be there on Saturday but have PM'd you to donate £5 to the cause.
No reason why you can't print out the poster and tweet a picture of you holding it up at two minutes after kick off #cafclive. Might even get it trending if enough supporters do it.
"... and Charlton sealed victory with the only goal of the game against Ipswich, coming in the second minute, in front of the away team's supporters..."
Load of old rubbish, your all mad. Crap slogan/song too. Stand up for the 2% .......sounds like 2% of our fanbase died suddenly Why dont you all go in fancy dress? Size 18 feet, red nose that honks, you get the idea.
On this particular thread I am going to be one of the 2% saying this is too personalised and about a group of supporters who have now become the main topic of conversation (whether they be 2% or 20%) when in actual fact the main topic is the running/management of Charlton which should still be protested about. I still think the protest should be there but with a timetable of events following on from the meeting the other day. The whole purpose of any protest surely is to achieve a given end. The black and white protest surely did further that goal and it is from this that things should be followed. That meeting did move things forward (of course it could all be words and no actions but surely time should be given to allow things to happen). This appears to be a bunch of ardent and decent fans focusing the issue on them as representative of the fan who really cares about Charlton when actually the rest of us may just want the action(i.e. better communication) to run its course. I was at the protest last time and yes I do care about the club but I think this is too soon. We should wait for things to be acted on. And no I am not Katrien or being held hostage.

That's precisely Meire's point, of course. The discontent is the work of the 2% of negative people and if it wasn't for them everything would be wonderful. It's a pretty standard line in these situations and enables her to argue that actually they are doing pretty well and all the decisions that have been made are the correct ones, etc, even when there is mounting evidence to suggest otherwise.
The protest has a point, which is to demonstrate that the discontent runs much wider and deeper than 2% and is not about any small group of individuals. Regardless of what Meire now says she is going to do - and it is documented that she has already been promising much of it for the last 18-20 months without delivering it - the argument that most people think the current regime is doing a satisfactory job needs to be exploded. That's why the posters say: "We are the 2%."
The risk is only 2% of the fans hold up the posters and then it's an own goal. It's critical that everyone gets involved to circulate these posters. Are there any other Charlton web sites where this initiative is being advertised?

The full text of the statement will now be printed on the back of the posters being distributed to help get the message across.

Why do people have to be told to hold it up ? If they want to they want to and with 10,000 of the things in circulation I am sure everyone who wants one will get one.
How about putting a sheet under as many seats as possible, particularly in the West Stand, then people can join in even if they didn't know what was planned. Can't make it or I would volunteer.
Katrien says things which I'm sorry, but are simply not credible to me. All the regime's managers have been a success, interview processes take place, the Royal Mail mess up with the season tickets, there will be satisfactory compensation for the Bournemouth displaced, only 2% of fans are dissatisfied. If nothing else any action might hasten better communications where credible truths are exchanged. We are losing shed loads of fans including those not on social media, we are losing them for a reason. Maybe this regime needs to ask why, rather than spend time persuading themselves it isn't happening.

I suspect the club would be really keen to allow the circulation of protesting materials on their premises, that will be jolly good of them. Though it could put Polish Pete, Romanian George and others to good use at last.
As Solidgone alluded, the success of this will be general awareness and distribution going into the ground. I'm confident come Saturday the first will be achieved, but Joe desperately needs volunteers to achieve the 2nd.
If you are prepared to give up an hour ahead of the game, or prepared to go out and buy a load of black and white balloons to pass around, we can all help make that difference.
If it all turns out a damp squib so be it, we can slag it after, but a specific protest has been coordinated for this game to try and tap into as many people as possible, doesn't stop people watching the game or giving full backing to the team, doesn't involve telling people to f*** off to Belgium or play on someone's gender, and can visually make a strong point if successfully adopted.
Would be great if people made effort to support now and held the post mortem after

Sounds a lot more worthwhile of support than anything else being done, Joe has done well
Some of the negativity around this protest is that many people won't get it, particularly those watching on TV. Surely only 2 people need to "get it" and that is KM and RD. Doing so in front of thousands of supporters and a TV audience will make the message (and humiliation) much greater.

Bingo.
This protest has a specific aim, to let KM know she is incredibly misguided as to the extent of the dissatisfaction that she has caused.

... or wants to keep the level of dissatisfaction away from RD ?

spot on, other who don't get it will question what it's about etc via social media and the message will spread, would be good if Sky picked up on it.
I have around 30 for 3 pounds that will be sold as well. Good quality, made in Leicester :-) As modelled by myself, @Airman Brown and lots of people in the away end v Birmingham ...

Great work!!
Despite donations etc A2TR's still needs volunteers to hand them out before the game people.

i have family commitments so will be viewing over sky.
Need to take hi res photos of all the home stands if possible to show extent of support.
Had there been a march i might have wriggled out of it, but results and communication mean that would possibly be ott
