  • Seems to me we are in the same situation that Liege fans were in with Luzon. They wanted him out, protested about it, Roland ignored them. Eventually he had to move him on because things were getting ugly. Not that I'm suggesting it should get ugly, but I think we need to somehow drive the point home harder.
  • Do the new government alcohol guidelines still apply if your team has just lost to Colchester in the Cup?

Thank god for this post. I thought I would never laugh again

Superb pictures of Elfsborg down the front just to the left of the dug out giving KF an EXTREMELY hard time shouting and pointing. Well done that man. Photos in the match thread and on twitter. Let's make Elfsborg's rant go viral.
    Where are these ?

Oh, Pope was a positive, would have been much worse without him and that's coming from someone who's been very critical of him in the past.

Listened to KF's post match interview. The man is a deluded, arrogant, clueless prick and should never be here!!

Add classless. Man has no pride whatsoever. Comes across as a bit pathetic.

Karel, it's time to go. You will remember that you once managed Charlton Athletic, and you will know that you were so far out of your depth.

Save yourself anymore bad memories and resign.

Well done also to the charlton prats that stood on the stairs and spoiled people's view whilst there were empty seats.

I was on the end seat by the stairs where they were standing and had to stand up coz couldn't see otherwise. The bloke next to me on the stairs wasn't there for the football - he just wanted somebody to have a pop - either a steward or one of his fellow fans, so he could fight - he clearly just wanted to fight anybody and everybody.

There were kids in the area so a real shame.

Sod KM RD and RM, where is Fraeyes pride? How can he not resign after the last two months under his management?

What a difference to when powell took us to the quarterfinals with pride and passion
Feel for all the poor customers who made the effort to watch this dross
Rd and kf and Her haven't a Fucking clue

Sorry but what happened at that Sheff U game was another where we rolled over - pride and passion was only shown by the fans on the day !
As I recall, that was at the height of "Roly tells Powell who to play" so I don't think anyone was really up for it on the day. The players probably knew CP's days were numbered...

I thought I had a bad Christmas eve. The Saniflo at the flag got blocked and the bath filled with 'dirty water' after a couple of days I managed to get a Saniflo engineer out and it turned out to be a blockage in the waste pipe. Downstairs have converted the basement so we were up quite high on a ladder and it turned out the Saniflo guy had no head for heights.

I had to stand on the base of the ladder as he cut into the pipe.

Unfortunately the blockage was lower than his first cut and this them reminded me of this regime and 'interim manager'. What a shower of shit.

Now what I wonder is if the club will refund all the travelling fans. From my experience in restaurants, a crap meal gets a refund
  • That was absolutely shocking. You would think we were still a League One side. In the last 15 years of supporting Charlton I've never felt so sad about the state of the club as I did sitting there at the end of the game, looking at our broken players staring into the sea of supporters each one with bitter anger on their faces. Tears were coming into my eyes.

Tried to clap the players as I always believe that negativity towards them is the worst possible thing to do, but today it was just so hard. Still feel absolutely miserable.

As I currently live in Colchester I was on their shuttle bus service with all the Colchester fans going back into town after the game, and heard some of them saying we're the worst side they've seen all season. They're currently second bottom of league one with the worst defence in the league.

    Bleak.

In 3-4 months time we will be.
By the end of January if this carries on like this.

Surely it's now time for the ringmaster to pick up his animals and piss of. They are really disliked right now, and should do the right thing before they end up being hated. It's now feeling like the obliteration of the club is intentional.

Excised myself from my usual Saturday Charlton debacle today. Watched Blackheath win at home and stayed away from the score updates on my phone. Sort of feel better for it really but just like to add, well done to the 1800 hardy souls who went to watch that unadulterated shower of shite!

In this case the restaurant owner has actually shat on your meal and then grinned. So probably not.

    Shambles of a game.

For at least 3-4 minutes, whilst Jordan was clearly in trouble, we had no subs warming up? Then we had 10 men until Igor was brought on as a replacement.

when Vaz Te came on, the players really had no idea what position they were supposed be playing, looking around aimlessly for direction.

The corner in front of us in the second half nobody came over to take it! With everybody looking around Moussa was then told to go and do it and sprinted from the other side of the box.

Feel quite sorry for the players really now- it's toxic out there with no leader today. After Pope, who made half time respectable, Fox, our Captain, actually stood out today as being better than most other players in red, says it all really.

    Shambles

I have already hit the sauvignon blanc, take-away curry ordered and looking for a good film to scream at instead of the hubby! Don't you just love CAFC? You can always rely on them to make Saturday night mean breaking the alcohol guidelines, diet and couch potato rules.

if Fraeye isn't relieved of his duties after this result just like his four predecessors who have all performed better than him then we know we have KF until at least the end of the season.

Just stop going to The Valley is the best protest we can make (Seb you are exempt). We have to get these people out at all costs before it's too late. A home crowd of Seb would make a very big statement.

Maybe pick a game for everyone to have as a day for supporters to show Meire & Murray if you intend to renew your season if the current situation continues.

  • One thousand eight hundred fans.. just let that sink in. Travelling and spending hard earned for THAT. Karel Fraeye is a pathetic man being used as a puppet by an even more pathetic man.

I'm really quite raging right now, remember when we were in the shit in the league but had Chris Powell guiding an understrength side on a FA Cup run? Seems like a long time ago hey, it wasn't beautiful but in hindsight we had a Club we were proud of. A team playing for the shirt and their manager, such a simple ask but we aren't going to get that here now.

We are only customers, we should ask for our money back.

Fans wouldn't, but we aren't fans.

I knew what the score was at half time and poured my heart out to a random Manure supporter and to be fair he empathised with me :disappointed: I am so upset for all you folks who went to the game in hope that we might just see a little glimmer of hope from this car crash of yet another season.

Personally I'm a massive fan of the 3-1-6 formation used by KF today! We don't have the players for it! #kidding #cafc #FraeyeOut #sackhim

  • Awful performance.

Sad to see the fans turning on the players now but entirely understandable as the frustrations at our mismanagement are boiling over.

We're bang in trouble under this lot and they need to get gone as soon as possible.

Great day out other than the football.

Quite nice Colchester for a northern town.
