I think we have seen that KF wasn't the mastermind. The most tactically inept manager we have had in al my time supporting the club. Riga/Euell, bring Watt back and maybe we can start throwing out some positivity on the pitch. The boardroom has to remain a target though.
Even if true it solves nothing, Riga worked once but it don't mean he will again, lightening rarely strikes twice, even if he did keep us up hailing him a 2 time club hero he'll be released at the end of the season to be replaced by a permanent Belgian bloke that none of us would have heard of with no backing and no championship experience and we'll be back here in the same position this time next year!
So not only are we signing players we deemed not good enough in the past, we bring back a coach/manager/puppet that they have ditched before. The terms stable structure and forward planning strategy must be completely alien to these numpties.
We've seen the way RD operates and this was probably the best outcome we could expect from him. Whilst I was never convinced that Riga would have gone on to make a success of us if he'd stayed, I do have some respect for the guy. I think he has got a much tougher job this time around however. If it means Fraeye is out of the picture, I'll take it. I really don't want Fraeye hanging around though, he needs to be gone, away from Charlton completely.
I have heard that Riga will return as Karel's assistant. The mastermind notion will still predominate, but it will be promoted as a successful pairing just as it was before, but with the mastermind in his rightful position. Once safety is achieved (HAHAHAHAHAHAHA) Riga, who was on a short term contract will go and Fraeye will remain.

This will be interesting if it comes about. I instinctively feel that Riga got lucky last time - especially in having three games in hand - and that Chris Powell would have kept us up anyway. But if he can come in and get us playing decent football again I'll take my hat off to him.

If this comes about - and if I was JR I think I would tell Roland where to go stick his offer - then I can only welcome Riga back. (He won me over last time). But I can't help but feel that he used his share of good luck up last time and without the coaching team and players he had at his disposal then, this could have a much different outcome.
Still, I bet Callum Harriott must be doing handstands at the news.
Yes Riga is an Experienced Manager which is why he is probably on a lot more than the other clowns and why again he will be till the end of the season #ToomuchforRoland

The squad last time was weaker but stayed fit in the run in.
