Not as appalling as the three months we were managerless for in the middle of the season52

Trust the regime! Keep the faith!2

It is especially appalling seeing that we are going to have exceptional turnover which needs proper planning. I have always said, there are so many new mistakes this mob can make in league one. It is verging on the hilarious, and would be if it wasn't the club I love!5

We didn't get dowie till the 30th of may, So still time.1

Blackburn / Bolton / Nottingham Forest are no different though... Blackburn have technically be without a Manager for longer as it was before the last game when Lambert said he was offmoutuakilla said:Managerless for almost 3 weeks. That's appalling

He's been there before and cocked it up.colin1961 said:Owen Coyle returning to England looks like heading back to Bolton ?
We're we not linked with him before?

The longer this drags on the more confident I am we can get a really crap manager.2

What would you do if you were the owner of a business and your key person position was vacant? You would surely employ a professional and knowledgeable agent to source a suitable replacement rather than do it yourself. Something tells me that RD has done nothing of the sort. Still we cling on in pitiful hope that a manager is employed who will give us a decent opportunity to move forward. Starting with putting a purposeful and balanced squad together capable of giving us something to cheer.0

They are busy trying to see if Nobby Vinegar has any genetic link to Britain so they can appoint him and claim he is at best, partly British.4

I don't know the situations with those clubs, but we have a lot of decisions on players that need to be made. I expect a new team to start next season, and you need time to get that right. You also need to get in early with approaches for the players you want, but how can we know what we want?ForeverAddickted said:

Duchatelet's choice would still be Nobby (The Indoor One), I would like to know the how much truth was in the rumour that if he was going to be appointed last January, that Meire was going to resign, and what were her reasons for threatening to do so.2

Slade reeks of trying to steady the ship rather than any real progression. The man has been managing for 22+ years and only really did OK at Orient.
In all honesty it really doesn't bother me who's manager/coach, every piece of news to me is no news until the ownership changes. We go nowhere until that happens, when it happens we are born again as a Club.10 -
Vinegar goes on chips, fish and chips are a British tradition. There's your linkbraydex said:They are busy trying to see if Nobby Vinegar has any genetic link to Britain so they can appoint him and claim he is at best, partly British.

Well if Katie can go through 20 CVs , short list, and appoint in an evening , before announcing " we gave found our Furguson" then using that time scale she has 9,722 applicants
Or in the real World none ---- unfortunately she and RD never visit planet Earth5 -

I guess we wont be appointing anyone this week then.0

I would if I was there, but in the good old USA I'd have to go the Vegas(who probably aren't running a book on this) or open an illegal offshore gambling account.Henry Irving said:

If everyone reading this went down the bookies and put a pound on Wilmots, would we see a story about how we were considering him.0 -

What Colin doesn't understand is that who ever is sourcing a new manager the responsibility still resides with the man/woman at the top. You can delegate a task but not the responsibility for the task (simple GCSE business studies).DRAddick said:

So in the unlikely event Dickie is tasked with the manager hunt Roly and Kat are still responsible for it.3 -

Cellino does at least communicate with Leeds supporters, and has acknowledged that he's made mistakes. He's still a lunatic halfwit who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football club, but he's definitely a step up from silent Roland.SELR_addicks said:9 -
Does anyone kind of wish we'd employed Nobby Vinegar instead of Riga? I'm genuinely intrigued what he would have been like. We went down anyway so instead of dragging Riga through the mire again it would have been nice to hear that Nobby had been having indoor training sessions where the players hit shots at benches and introduced a 'no over head height' rule in games. At this point everything the club does is worthless in a footballing sense so it may as well be funny too13

Hence the readily available network managers? Are you suggesting that of all the 'interesting' applicants, the network managers were the best ones, despite one of them not having a work permit'. And the 'improved' performances after each one's dismissal? You have to give credit to Richard Murray, for clearly identifying these stellar candidates. Do you think he is busy identifying and inviting to interview all those candidates as we wait with baited breath on the next appointment?colin1961 said:

Has Katrien turned up to work today or do you think she is working from home as she doesn't like empty offices?

probably would have been OK until Nobby realised that goals scored from rebounds off the advertising boards behind the goal don't count...Garrymanilow said:Does anyone kind of wish we'd employed Nobby Vinegar instead of Riga? We've already had 6 or 6 (k)nobs so one more won't hurt.Garrymanilow said:Does anyone kind of wish we'd employed Nobby Vinegar instead of Riga? I'm genuinely intrigued what he would have been like.
