Why no info from the club? Tell us you are looking, you have a short list, you are not on holiday, you have a plan, anything?

Would you believe anything they say? I wouldn't.

I do wonder if they're waiting on the outcome of the playoffs and have their eye on someone...or am I giving them too much credit? I'm sure it's just the usual Katrien Meire incompetence.

How do you think the play offs are going to effect the bargain basement manager we're going to employee?
I hope it's the Plymouth manager ..... that would be an excellent appointment
    Not now Colin.
Colin knows we're waiting for Belgian to be knocked out of the Euros son we can appoint Wilmcote.
Colin knows we're waiting for Belgium to be knocked out of the Eurovision so we can appoint Plastique Bertrand

Slade would probably suit Roland well, he has previous for building with free transfers and working with little money available.

Anybody like to speculate who makes the ultimate decision, and what guides them, and what qualifies them to do so?
Is it about money, compliance, aspiration, for show, for thorough footballing reasons?
Is there anybody at the club able to make a proper decision or are they using an agency?

Got money on Freedman but really don't want him.
  • Johnnie Jackson at 6/1 is the big market mover.

I don't think it matters who's appointed unless there is complete autonomy regarding player recruitment and selection

I honestly think it's going to be Russell Slade. But praying it's not.
  • I used to laugh at Russell Slade.
    Who's laughing now?

Has Johnnie got his coaching badges or are they more relaxed in league 1 ?

Think he did them last year - some of them, anyway.

Brilliant question. If only we could get the truth.

If there was to be an announcement tomorrow , you'd imagine that a press conference would have been called? Surely a journo or at the very least rich Cawley would have picked up on something!

Jackson suddenly appears at 6/1 and Ketts comes out saying we'll find out tomorrow. *insert it's happening gif*

Seriously, please do. I don't have a clue how to.

    Are you female?

It'll be Slade. He'll be under instructions to develop his hoof ball tactics. That way Roly will save money on midfielders.

Looking like Slade, as someone else said he tried to sign Watt at Cardiff, Watt has suddenly emerged on twitter again and flirted with a Charlton pic. Probably knows and he is in Slades good book so is now staying.

    Gotta love a 2 add 2

How about Slade/Adkins as manger , with Jackson learning the ropes as assistant?

The reason managers are successful is because of their staff. Always a mistake to force coaching staff onto a new manager like Murray did with Dowie.

I'd rather give Jacko the job with him picking an assistant.

Apparently a deal has been agreed for several days now, they are just haggling over image rights.

Yeah, the potential new manager is put off by the current image of the club
