I have said this before, but it doesn't matter a toss how much he's sold for because it goes to Roland and not to CAFC.
Nail on the head, Halix. All these imaginary salaries and fees for Gudmundsson - who cares, when Duchatelet is perfectly capable of trousering the dosh and parachuting in another turkey from Belgium? It's worth remembering that JBG is flaky in the tackle, is by-passed by every smart Championship team, and was entirely culpable in a relegated side. And he got on his high horse, slagging us off in the Press for demonstrating against Duchatelet.
I have great hopes for Novak and Ajose - between them, 39 goals last season: that is precisely what we need. No crouching and posturing from a manager on the touchline, no burbling platitudes, no excuses about irritation of the pubis. I'm relying on Slade to play them both in every game, to forge a partnership that will maraud and triumph - they have superb role models in Killer and Flash.
I'm champing at the bit for Welling on Saturday. The sloping pitch, the incomprehensible tannoy, a ball skied over the wall to unsuspecting shoppers. COME ON YOU REDS!
It's matters to how much debt we are saddled with when Roly finally realises football ain't for him and leaves.
How many Belgians do we have in the squad ??? we have to cover 6mill loses that we will occur through the season, plus the money RD putting in monthly to cover running costs, also we just spent appox 1.2 mill on two players with more to come if Slade needs them ..... So what money is going in his pocket ??? Gudmunnson was always going if he had a good euros even if we had stayed in the championship , plus is salary (most likey cover 2/3 new signings )
Mate with respect, what the fuck are you on about?
What the fuck has any of that got to do with anything I said?
Also do you not think the 6m? (Figure plucked from Colins brain) loss each year is not just the sum of the monthly running costs minus income? Bit unfair to count the same money twice!
Yes Gudmundssson was always gonna leave.. but how much we get for him very much matters because when the wanker that owns us finally fucks off every million we owe to him will hurt. And so every extra million we get for players helps us. I know it's too much to hope for with these incompetents in charge.
"QPR are trying to find a deal for Jordan Cousins - but Charlton are determined to make sure that they get a fair price. The South London Press had been told earlier in the summer that the Addicks wanted around £3million for their Player of the Year.
Not bad for a league 1 player who can't pass the ball (that is irony is case you hadn't noticed).
Also seems odd that JBG is £2m (RedHenry) or £2.5m (SLP) but Cousins is seen as more expensive even given that he is English. Both had similar time in Championship but JBG more attacking and a full international while both have long contracts. JBG 25 and JC 22.
At the end of the day a player is worth what someone will pay (see Nabby Sarr 1.4m euros)
Kashi has a bit of a dilemma as he would like to play higher level, but a team will have to brave to stump up a reasonable fee for a player who hasn't featured for a whole season. I can see him going out on loan, but that will depend if Cousins goes, as we will need to replace both. I'd be surprised if the club didn't expect both to be gone, and made other plans.
Kashi has played less than 10 games for us. I know he looked decent in most of them (although he was shite away at Blackburn) but too early to be passing proper judgement on him yet.
I know I may get ridiculed for this... I honestly think Kashi is better than Cousins - Much better.
It seems fashionable to underrate Cousins. He was superb for 2 seasons and last even he was player of the year, playing in a dreadful side . He's mobile, strong and moves the ball quickly, if lacking any great inventiveness . Can't believe either he or Kashi will stay

Who's got the "it's happening" GIF?
I know Kashi is 27 but if I wouldn't hesitate selling Cousins for 3m and keeping Kashi.
