6 million of player sales with 800k spent could see bigger riots. Bring it on

    Grow up .......

Players are going for following reasons wages, and the fact they don't want to stay , Cousins Jorge T and Gudmunnson all want to try their luck at other clubs . Lookman as said many times he does not want to leave but am afraid his agent not listening and still trying to arrange a move for him , the saving grace is he is on a contract with no release clause and charlton valuation of him going to take a team to take a big gamble on him . Diarra as had an offer from a French club but as yet to decide his future.
We spent 1.2 mill already and expect more to be spent either in fees or on decent wages to attract players out of contract .

Lookman and Watt won't feature at Welling , Lookman been on duty for England so would say he has extended leave and Watt only started proper training today so Saturday to early for him .
May I suggest you learn to read Colin?

The issue isn't that players like JBG and Cousins (might) want to leave and be sold, it is that the money we would possibly recieved in fees (ca. £6m?!?) has only seen us invest ca. £0.8m in replacements to build our squad - and before you make up stories, Rich Cawley from the SLP has stated that the 800K for Ajose was exaggerated quite a bit.....

Also, why do you feel the need to mindlessly post nonsense in the express desire to aggrivate people? That is a serious question BTW
He must have 'issues' in life.
The more it aggravates you two idiots then it's fun by the way just for the record
The young lad from Stevenage 250,000
Holmes 400,000 Ajose even if was 600,000 still makes our spending 1.2
I won't bother reading your replies...as it's clear it will just be more crap
Finally bexleyboy has come out to play
It's been the most cunning disguise since this fella:

The kid from Stevenage was five figures so 250k is as wide of the mark as a Nicky Bailey penalty

great so we can have both o'hara and johnson, who weren't a complete dressing room apocalypse together at wolves

A lot of wot happened at Wolves was down to Kenny jacket , ok Jamie didn't help himself with certain things towards wolves fans , but some of the things jacket did would piss most players off .

BWP was signed the season before for £150k (what an absolute bargain). Morrison - 200k, Stephens £350k, Green £400k, Haynes £75k, Wiggins £300k. Hamer we paid a fee for as well i think, and I seem to remember Leon Clarke was £50k + Benson.

May have got some of those prices wrong

I have heard Powell on more than one occasion say he only paid fees for two players that summer transfer window. One was Stephens the other was Wiggins. I'm pretty sure Morrison had been released by the wendies and the same with Hamer from Reading.
We may have paid for Haynes as he joined in the January.

It's possible that Powell doesn't count Leon Clarke even if we did pay a fee for him as he wasn't a Powell signing. I believe he was one of the players 'given' to Powell by Prothero? (The other being Alonso) neither of whomever really played so possible CPL didn't count them.

But I have no reason to doubt what the great man said.

I imagine Colin being one of those weird loner sorts of 50 yr old men. Who lives alone in some rank flat, wears socks and sandals, never washes or changes his clothes and so has the worlds greasiest hair and stinks like a rats arse. Unemployed and who's only release is to be a twat on the Internet.

Shame really as I'm sure in person he is a nice normal fella with a job, family, friends hobbys and a life. I'm sure he enjoys a pint down his local as much as the rest of us.

Just goes back to that question. You can be anyone you want on the Internet. Why be a twat?

    Would O'Hara be a good signing ?

We need a player like O'Hara who can sit on the ball in midfield, knock passes about without having to resort to lumping it up the middle.

I think he would be. Good left foot and has a bit of quality about him. Him on the set pieces would be ideal - we've lacked a decent dead ball taker for a while now.

Be interesting then to see who is in goal for the new season if we lose Pope then.

You'd expect Stephen Henderson to go seeing that he was still in Marbella when the players reported back for pre-season training, Dimitar Mitov is still very young whilst is Dillon Phillips still injured after his Cheltenham spell?

You forgot to add the most worrying line... with the aim being to avoid surgery.

Am sure its because avoiding surgery will aid Lennon's career but cant help but wonder if its the classic dithering!!

He's had his off field problems. Kenny Jackett made him train with u21s at Wolves. But he's turned a corner now I reckon and realises this is his last chance.

Didnt we release Ibe because he didnt have the right attitude?

Sounds like that gave him the kick up the backside @ Wycombe to sort himself out

As well as a knee niggle for Solly!

We must have proper cover for him for L1

No idea but wouldn't be the first mistake we've made releasing players too soon.
