I am not sure that's true about players not mentioning CEO's when thanking people in the past when signing and I can't see what she would gain telling players to thank her in their first interviews, because as is being said now no one believes it. She probably does come across very well during meetings with players, sponsors, etc. Doesn't mean I like her at all because I don't trust her.
Anyhoo this is a rumours thread not another attack KM thread.
Agreed. He doesn't even thank Katrien. He just says he met with her and Slade on Monday. What's the big deal?
I meant it's a step in the right direction of the type of players we are signing.
Yes, it's a shame it's taken this long for RD/KM to realise and action. And of course, I sympathise with everyone affected at the club! Not disputing that.
I reiterate I'm not happy with our current predicament, just like everyone else. But I want to concentrate on backing the team, again, like everyone else.
Sorry @_nam11 if it read like i was digging you out, that wasn't my intention.
Wyn Grant now reporting we have signed Nicky Ajose, according to Wiltshire sources. I hope this is true, we seem to be signing well (for our position anyway) at the moment. Can anyone ITK confirm this?
Just one thought... Wonder how much of this British approach is down to a chance in approach or simply because of the change in Home Grown rules... Dont we have to have nine players in our match-day squad this season?
Wasn't impressed during the play off final but 27 goals is very good. Two more than Ajose. I would expect Millwall to pick up a similar fee to Swindon so around 800k. Will be hard for them to replace those goals so here's hoping.
Know what you mean Ricky but again that partnership was in the Championship.
Three of those players had to step up to an established Premier League side which had just been relegated so were under pressure to get us back to the top flight at the first attempt, two of them came from a League below (Remember we signed Iwelumo from Colchester who'd just been promoted) whilst one was from a League further below.
Ajose / Novak are both players from established League One clubs so the same Division we're now in whilst only Taylor would be a risk
KM does love a loan; Polish Pete, Nego, Reza, Marco, Tucadean, Watt and now Igor.
My guess is that wages make him to expensive for non-British clubs to take on and he, quite understandably, doesn't want to take a pay cut. So we loan him out, the other club pay some of the wages and maybe a loan fee so not all negative. And if he gets fit and gets his mojo back he'll be more valuable.
Or he'll be given away like Polish Pete.
Shame as seemed a real find when he first came but that was tow injuries, an operation and about 5 coaches ago.

Millwall striker Lee Gregory is wanted by QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Celtic, according to the Daily Mail.
The 27-year-old fired 27 goals in all competitions last season for Neil Harris’ side as they reached the League One play-off final.
Be great if this happens... Nothing better than our rivals being weakened
Ajose / Novak / Taylor / Watt (?) would be one awesome Strike partnership

Get fit, get scoring, get a permanent move.
