On the subject of the bottom of league 2, what on earth has happened at Scunthorpe?
Made the league one play offs in 16-17 and 17-18, went down the following season and now 2 years later they're heading to the national league. That's a plummet that even outshines us.
An interesting choice. A complete outsider (unusual for AFC) but also someone unproven at firefighting, as they need a short term fix, whether it's someone to motivate the players or someone to bollock them to perform better!
AFC Wimbledon are going down and I think we beat them next week. They are proof that majority fan-owned clubs cannot compete at the highest end because they can't lose money the way rich clubs can and will always be outbid for good players. In the end they will have to accept an outside owner. Guessing within 2-3 years max. I know people love to romance their fan base but to vary a quote by Harry Callahan in Magnum Force... "A fan base has got to know their limitations."
Crewe Alexandra have parted company with manager David Artell following their relegation from League One. Artell's former assistant Alex Morris has been named as interim first-team manager, with under-23s boss Lee Bell working alongside him. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61070258

It's really hard to say whether he should have done better this season, when their squad is so weak now
Neil Warnock has announced his retirement. A few existing under pressure managers will be relieved!
I know he can be an moaner at times but a good manager.
Also when you listen to him in interviews, radio shows etc, these days he actually comes across as quite a nice bloke. Just a guy who is clearly passionate about the team he's managing and sometimes gets carried away.
What do we make of Ten Hag as the next Man Utd Manager.
Looks like its going to happen
Feel their problems go beyond the Manager - A bit like here at Charlton, but based on what he's achieved with Ajax, think he could be the sort of appointment they need.

A lot of Ajax's success is down to the club ethos though, and the players they bring through. Can he cope with the big egos at Man U?

They were six points from safety with six games to go and got relegated with one game to spare.
Just in time for the game against us next week.
I wonder if Jason Euell will be interested. Think he applied last time and didn't get it.

Very experienced as a coach but not as a manager.
Wish him luck after we've played them, was a good servant to the club as a player.
Good appointment for Afc.
