Out of the 72 in the EFL, not including the Premier League, there are 36 whose manager had been appointed before the end of January. Some bloke called Nathan Jones is the 37th longest-serving.
If the owners said something, this forum would receive 100 posts in rapid fire about why the ‘statement is rubbish’, ‘they’ll be leaving in no time’, ‘another bunch of chancers’ etc etc. Followed by ‘bring back Curbs, Powell, Bowyer & Jacko’.
Say nothing = not good enough

Our owners don’t need to say anything, most of us can acknowledge how disgraceful and pathetic our football currently is and what a shambles of a job we have done with our recruitments .
"It's great I've got the backing of the people that matter."
Not the best choice of words when your fan base is calling for your head.
Imagine if Nathan Jones had said words to a similar effect after losing to our rivals and not being too popular anyway, my word.
Bolton are not even doing that badly. Point outside the play offs with a game or 2 in hand
Was thinking the same, it's not as if they're sat 14th playing terrible football and not scoring many goals.......
League 1 seems very poor this year - I suspect most clubs fans from 7th downwards will be unhappy with quality of football and league position. Does make it more frustrating to not be taking advantage of it. I’m not sure what the answer is, but I don’t yet think sacking another manager is it.

The fans were restless after their slow start, as we know they were not performing because we beat them. However things are getting back to normal now and they will be in and around the playoffs.
The fans have settled down and he is doing a good job
The club is said to want a manager who can bring some solidity and discipline to the squad after the heavy defeat by Spurs.
The classic rebound from one style of football to a completely different style. Interesting that he could have got the job 2 years ago instead of Jones. If they hadn't approached Jones, would he still be at Luton?
Club sources say Juric was one of two options in the frame as Ralph Hasenhuttl's replacement when Nathan Jones was appointed in November 2022.
