    ?

I'd rather we'd lost one then won one rather than all these poxy draws! Points tally would be a lot better too. It's the home form which needs sorting if you are setting up not to lose away.
  • Another glorious draw on our way to mid-table mediocrity.

There's a picture of Jim White speaking to Katrien at the game today. He said to Airman on his talk sport show last week that he'd get us answers. Interested to see the outcome of this, let's hope he hasn't been fooled by her.

She will feed him a load of bollocks and he will lap it up

    Absolute shower.

But apart from the weather, a good point considering what happened on the field.

Devil's advocate time. Against Port Vale we deserved to win comfortably, but conceded a pen in the last few minutes.Today we sounded crap yet we got lucky with a pen in the last few minutes. You never know if we put a couple of wins together back to back we'll climb the table.I know it's grabbing at straws but thats all we've got ATM.

Worst first half I've ever seen. Much better in the second half and should of won. Referee was absolutely shocking . Thought they had a stonewall turned down. Only one person to blame for us not winning games and thats Russel.

Oh and fox was at fault for their goal . Again

Really hope a lucky last minute penalty doesn't save Slade's skin. Still not remotely acceptable.

We played like a team that deserved to be losing to a club like Gillingham. That says it all.

Excuse me! Don't nick my joke! :-)
  • For teams like Gillingham it's their cup final so they are always going to be up for it. We need to boss the game, not let them get their heads up.

Looks like we posted at exactly the same time, for a fleeting moment we were as one. No matter what happens they can never take 5:24pm on 22/10/2016 away from us.

Our midfield isn't capable of bossing games
  • One win in 12, one win in last ten league games - not much else to say.
    Shocking....

    Horrible performance, horrible day.

The first half was the poorest half I've seen from us all season (which is saying something) but the reaction from some fans at half time including some serious should know betters in their 50s and beyond was embarrassing and the subsequent stand off with the players was horrible to witness. Rudd and Pearce looked seriously pissed off and Lookman gave a bit back although I think he said "calm down" which was fair enough. I know they were poor but how is it going to be beneficial giving players that much abuse when there is 45 minutes left?
Despite the abuse, the second half was a bit better and, if Ajose takes both penalties, we might have nicked it although that would have been a huge smash and grab. Notable that there were no celebrations with the fans (that I witnessed anyway) when we did score.

I then had the pleasure of walking back to the station with the Charlton youth punching cars and abusing the police and station staff which perfectly topped off the afternoon. I'm definitely getting old.....

Although I disagree with the over the top half time reaction, you can't escape the fact that we did not play well again and the prospect of going on a winning run looks pretty remote at the moment.

Look how patient we were. F off slade.
  • First half we were woeful. You can't play long ball to a target man with no one for him to knock it down to. Gillinghams defenders probably couldn't believe how easy it was. Second half improved slightly with two up top, but we're lucky to come away with a point in end. Lookman shouldn't be playing wide, can't get into the game and his head gets down afyer one or two mistakes. Full backs were poor defensively, Gills had lots of joy against both Fox and Solly. Konsa was one positive point, very calm on the ball and one of our better players. Crofts can only pass backwards, utterly useless, as unfortunately was Jackson. Slade is clueless, the team has the quality to be doing far better but the tactics are shocking, if it weren't for the ref helping us we would have lost the match. The only manager he's been better than is Fraeye, and at least Russ has had the summer to get his team together and is playing in a league below. Embarrassing. Never heard fans actively having to chant a formation for the realisation to set in.
