I take all this to mean that Robbo will put forward a wishlist of players and that Duchatelet and the computer boffin will nay or yea it
  • LOL! Just watched the clip of KR spouting off about his visit to the "President!"

As others have said, he already looks like a beaten man now that he has realised the reality of what he has walked into.

From what he was saying, and the way he said it, there is not a hope in hell we are going to get the players necessary to mount a serious promotion challenge.

Haven't really warmed to KR if I am honest but he doesn't deserve to be made a fool of like this. I'd certainly wager a few quid that one way or the other - and there must be a possibility that he will walk seeing the hopelessness of the situation he has walked into - that he will be gone by March.

    IMO
He's had a bollocking because of the results. He has been told he will not get the money he wants for new signings. His confidence has been shattered.

RD wants him to sign up immediately for dancing lessons to secure his future role.

Nothing about working towards the same goals/ambitions or being on the same page.

Surprised this wasn't discussed in Paris a few weeks ago when then met for hours.

    This is utterly depressing.

Exactly, you'd think a key factor in any talks about a manager joining a club would involve what kind of budget there was for new signings.
  • Well run clubs have identified their targets for January had them thoroughly scouted and started putting bids in.

Us and a few others are still negotiating who we can and and can't get in depending on the budget and it won't surprise me if we lose out on top targets to other clubs due to lack of preparation and progress.

And probable unwillingness to pay the going rate.

I've only just watched KR's video and was a bit surprised that training was affected by frozen pitches. When I visited the training ground last season, the Operations Manager was very enthusiastic in promoting what Roland has done at Sparrows Lane and we were shown a couple of the plastic pitches.

Doesn't help that each time we change manager they have their own ideas on player and style of football.

"Cristian Ceballos scored, so it was nice to see him play"

Ok, so at least we know one of the new arrivals in January.

RD: you want a winger ? He's all yours huh

You want two central midfielders ? I signed one a while back, name of Ba huh, I'm told by our scouts he's the best midfielder at the club so you can play him. That still leaves one hmm, what a shame that diarra retired

    KR: Huh ?

"The president has his theory on things" is roughly translated that the scouser was told to sit down and do as he's told.

LOL! Just watched the clip of KR spouting off about his visit to the "President!"

He made a fool of himself from the very beginning when he stated that he had met the owner & was excited by his vision. Why didn't he speak to Powell or Slade ? ..........& if he did then he's an even bigger fool............ unless he likes dancing ?

I expect he was spun a load of bullshit before he signed and has just been told something rather nearer the truth.

KR wasn't very convincing that his aim of trying to be successful on the pitch is matched by 'The President'. Sad thing is I am convinced By KR's ambition, he looked a bit deflated. Not easy negotiating with an arrogant madman and his useless sidekick. Would love to have been a fly on the wall for his conversation with JJ right after their audience with the great (big) one!

Any faults in 'late period' Jacko are completely erased by the Jackoness of Jacko taking his Charlton career as a whole in my mind.

Plastic pitches, unfortunately, freeze unless they have underpitch heating. The other flaw is they can retain the cold so once a hard frost sets in (as opposed to just the surface having a covering of frost) then they can take a few days to properly thaw. And if cold then falling over on them is like falling on concrete.

I reckon in all honesty that he has known exactly what the situation is from day one.
So does he not take the job and hope something comes along or take the job knowing he will be paid off in full after a few months?
Simple, just fleece the old twat of as much as he can and who can blame him.

Roland Douchebag only gives money in January if
we are going for promotion LOL, or fear of going down.
He said that when he first took over,
Any one heard of a change of Strategy ?

Why did Robinson say he hoped for new signings ?
surely he asked for signings at the interview ?

Is Robbo just going to be another wannabe comedian from Liverpool.
