  • BT Sport, happy to go to an ad break when a trophy is presented or a national anthem sung but when the Kop sings the media world falls silent...what a load of old bollocks
  • And whilst I am banging on about it the whole City coach thing was tagged 'lets show them what money can't buy!'

Liverpool squad, just the 396million pounds spent FFS
  • great goal
  • Already had to mute Darren "why use one word when 20 will do" Fletcher
  • Great strike by Ox
  • Well that's some start for Liverpool
  • Would have been very difficult for Oxlaide-Chamberlain to score a goal that for Arsenal. Well from where Wenger played him anyway.
  • Impressive start from Liverpool

Can Salah do no wrong at the mo?

City will want to throw everything at Liverpool now but a 3rd looks more likely for the Reds

Think they were saving themselves a little after seeing them against Palarse at the weekend
  • Blimey!!
  • Smashing that coach up has done wonders for them.

  • Great header that. Keeper no chance
  • Unbelievable 3-0 Liverpool. City look a complete mess. If they don't get at least one back this tie could be over tonight.
  • What the fuck has happened to City?
  • Guadiola has City set up without an orthodox Right Midfielder. Gundogan is playing in-field, Silva in the inside left position and Sane wide on the left. Lop-sided 4-2-3-1. Wide open on the right and their system is out of kilter. Strange. Liverpool have taken full advantage.
  • ManC can set whatever PL records it wants this season, but without either an FA Cup or Champions League title to add on, I believe it should not be ranked with the greats.
  • City need a goal back quickly. Make it 3-1 then you'd fancy the to come back
  • 3-0. Wow.

On TV I hasten to add...
  • Can't believe Pep has not made a substitution maybe even 2!

Cant see it at the moment. Liverpool are going to win this 5 or 6 the way its going.

  • Kompany needs to be replaced soon.

Pep's face was a picture when the third went in!
  • They are on a different level at the moment

You have to assume City will improve. They've got to bring Sterling on for a start, to give Robertson something to think about

Crikey. I expected Liverpool to give City a game but looks like a re-run of the game back in January which finished 4-3. Liverpool have to be careful not to lift the foot off the throat.

Pep should never have gone on that coaching class by Karl Robinson.

  • Haven’t managed to watch any of it so far but what a scoreline. As soon as I saw the line up I said it was strange and he has tried to contain Liverpool but they just can’t do that.

What’s the point of not playing the style they have that has got them so much success?

If they get an away goal, it will be game on taking to the Etihad but otherwise, Liverpool are by far favourites now.

Pardew is now available if City's owners want to make a change
  • The way Liverpool are playing it looks like they are trying to settle for 3-0 but that isn't how they got to winning by that score.
