That defending really was abysmal for their goal - sunday league standard.
Bury were an yet another awful team to come to The Valley yet they won.
It's almost as difficult to concede as it is to score in this division! We had to literally gift them a goal in order to manage it, despite the numerous times that they got into excellent positions only for the cross or shot to end in row Z.
We huffed and puffed to little effect although Novak looped a good effort on to the bar and another flicked header was well saved low down at the near post. Watt had a shot tipped on to the bar late on.
That was pretty much it.
Bury weren't as good as Oxford but if they had had a final ball could have scored more as they got into good positions half a dozen times. Late chances were also spurned by Bury but we were down to 10 and getting caught on the break.
The goal was a catalogue of mistakes that would have been criticized in an U7s game.
JFC was poor. Every one else average. Team play?, Passing? Set pieces? What are they?
Just like Oxford we got what we deserved.
Covered End tried but they can't (mis)kick a ball.
Robinson's addiction to 4231 is as bizarre as it is fruitless.
The bloke behind me kept calling him "Jimmy Tarbuck" and now I've heard it I can't unthink it.
Tarbuck walked off hands in pockets and without acknowledging the fans. OK, doing so would have only increased the already significant volume of justified boos and abuse but so what? The players clapped at least.
I think they're practicing for the half time cross bar challenge - it's the only thing they are likely to win at the moment, it would also get them out of Gobby's team talk.
I think it is going to go pear shaped today. Bury to get an early goal and then defend it for the rest of the game.
Nostradamus Plumb.
You didn't have to be Nostradamus to predict that. It was odds on.
Rick nailed it in VOTV. His 'Robinson is on the ropes' article is a good summary as to where we are now as a club. I agree, sacking managers solves nothing. It's all about the way the club is run.
When we played Wimbledon at home in the early Autumn I had a brief conversation with Chris Parkes. He was annoyed with my support for the protests and told me "If it wasn't for Roland we would end up like Wimbledon"
I notice that Wimbledon climbed above us in the league table today.

I have been supportive of Robinson but he has lost it a bit for me. Not his fault I think that the team lack goalscorers but subs were wrong. Ok first was enforced and Crofts was ok I thought. Konsa gives you absolutely nothing (where it matters in midfield). I'm sorry - he is a good prospect, but it's true! Aribo is at that stage where he needs a rest. Page was total pants, why not swap Watt for him instead of Novak - who I thought did ok. Aribo and page were the ones who should have been subbed! Byrne was ok - prefer him as an attacking right back to a winger.
Anyway - some kid in his bedroom wearing only his underpants can apply all these logorhythams to performance attributes, but I can look up goal scoring records on google in 10 minutes and show you the problem and then go down the pub for a couple of pints!
This club is a complete joke and next Saturday can't come soon enough. Too many clueless idiots who just don't know what they are doing. I've gone past angry and seem to have reached a level where I can see how funny it all is! Rest assured, anger will return though.
We should have won The ref was poor Their keeper was man of the match We are creating so many chances We are hitting the woodwork twice a match We are unlucky
I said when we were hovering around the play offs a few months back that there is a part of me that would rather a lower mid table finish because I think it would increase the chances of Roland cutting his losses. Now that that league position is happening, it really is a grim reality.
I have absolutely no idea if it will make Roland sell but it's more hope. That's the only positive spin I can put on our league form, that maybe just maybe it will give us more of a chance of finally getting rid. I'm sure there are loads of reasons why our league position doesn't even matter and they're probably all valid, just only positive spin I can put on the sad sad state of our club.
I haven't been very much lately and the strange healing power of the brain had managed to block out the memories of just how dreadful we are. I was swiftly re-acquainted with reality.
Sheer and utter dogshite.
Did we really pay money for Page?? I genuinely would prefer to see Archie Edwards given a shot.
Stephy has a trick or two but clearly feels, with some justification, that he has to do it all on his own. And can't. Yet.
I think we've got too much quality to actually go down to L2, but I wouldn't put money on that.
We all know where the core of the cancer is - Duchatelet and Meire. But it's infecting the whole club, from top to bottom, with the exception of our praiseworthy academy.
Just sell up and go, you deluded, incompetent fools.

Parkes, like his wife(though looking like a man), is an a*** licker and only protecting his own interests.
https://youtu.be/J6jAdv14W-M Well played Bury - pleased for their fans who were absolutely elated by the win - for them it was like winning a Cup Final.
The winner was scored by their 38 year old player coach, which rather sums things up
While there are clearly deeper issues than KR, I REALLY feel that we need to change our 4-2-3-1 system, as it's not working
While manager always talk about flooding the middle of the park, all it did today was cause congestion. Meanwhile out wide 1) The full backs, especially Byrne kept getting isolated 2 vs 1 2) When we were attacking, the wide players would similarly be isolated, with no overlapping full back
Other managers know how we are going to play, we are so easy to play against at the moment
Utter utter shit. There is no discernable pattern of play and I can't see a game plan. We got done time and time again on the break and were lucky not to loose by more.
We are all over the shop defensively, the midfield is non existant and for all the service we give our forward we might as well play with 10.
Make no mistake, we are going to get sucked into a relegation scrap. We look a busted flush at the moment. There's no leaders on or off the pitch.
2 or 3 more performances like that and I honestly think Robinson will be gone. Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. He is clueless.
My thoughts exactly - first game since Peterborough at home and we look worse in fact we are looking as bad as last season and I fear we could easily be sucked into a relegation scrap with a team who look incapable of scrapping or even competing at this level.
Another common feature of the few games I've attended this season - apart from them all being defeats - is that the opposition have been very poor that any half decent side should be beating easily. Just shows how crap we are

I had to stop watching it after 3 mins. His hands are tied. He's no worse than the other managers. He's probably not much better either. I don't know how this changes if this mob stay in control of our club.
it looks as though Didididi is out and will go back to Arsenal .. can't blame him really .. get well soon .. Magennis looks as though he has the daily trouble double .. not fit and has given up trying .. Watt ? .. have he and 'manager' (I use the word loosely) Robinson fallen out ? .. two other strikers out on loan
Who's left in the striker locker ? ... perhaps we'll see Umarah at Shrewsbury .. all together now .. 'he can't do any worse than the others' .. on the one occasion I saw him (a cameo at Hull last season when we were 6-0 down) he at least gave it a right good go against decent and tough defenders

Best crossbar challenge effort so far.
Another embarrassing football for a fiver gate.

Utter dross served up .
My heart is broken by this shit experiment, we are a disgrace .
25-% 7th-12th ......... 72% 13th-20th .....3% relegation

I hope x manager can be given money.
Perhaps x manager can turn things around.
IT WAS PAST ALL THIS SHIT WHEN WATFORD BEAT US 5-0!
Until these c**** f*** off we are only going downwards.
