Not read this thread for weeks, so forgive me if this has already been said.
The difference in direct income between League 1 and The Championship is not that great, it's nowhere near the difference between the Championship and the Premier League. Don't get me wrong, any one of us wouldn't mind finding it down the back of the sofa, but when you are talking millions of pounds in takeover fees and debts, it's small beer. I think any serious investor wouldn't be put off by the relatively little increase that promotion might bring.
Roland is a mad, egotistical, vindictive old cu*t.
He wants to be able to claim to his arse licking "friends" (all rich people have them) that he has not failed in his football project in England - the club he bought were in the same league when he left as when he arrived. His genius appointment of Lee Bowyer gained promotion, and his ground breaking idea of running a football club with no-one in charge has been a roaring success.
Furthermore, by delaying the sale, he can taint the enjoyment of (potential) promotion for the people he hates (us), and get one over on the boycotters that he would like to see dead, as they wrestle with the conundrum of whether to attend or not. His kind enjoy that sort of thing.
Boycott if you want, attend if you want. Don't crow or berate, again it's what his kind do - divide and conquer. Don't give the old fraud the pleasure...
