We seem to be signing a lot of "Ricky Holmes" type players don't we! Can play behind the striker, but also off either flank.
Sounds like a prospect. Hope he gets the chance to do well.8 -

saw him play against Stevenage a few months ago and he was superb, although given that was probably his best performance for Colchester, means very little. We needed a good impact sub/cover for Marshall and Holmes, so pleased with this one.1

Good to see another attacking player come in. To play Robinson's 4-2-3-1 we need plenty of options for the '3' to cover injuries, suspensions and loss of form and of course options from the bench.
Seems he's still got a lot to prove, wasn't a regular starter for Colchester in League 2. Probably explains the 2 year deal. In the case of Marshall and Clarke it'll be due to their age.
Hope there's plenty more to come in the next couple of weeks.4 -
Got a Colchester fan and a Reading fan at work and both this he's pretty decent.2
