I feel sorry for their cloob but interested in the direction she takes with her progressive ideas. Will she repeat the
errorsFuck upsUniqueness for the modernsupporter/fanCustomer and get rid of the past or realise that us supporters are a different clientele and very precious of our football club?0 -
Well if you've already got crap players on long expensive contracts, hold tight because you're probably about to get some more. We had to cancel some of our players contracts because they were costing a fortune and we couldn't sell them on. I'm sure a lot of that had to do with the fact they were on wages above their level and any prospective buyer wasn't prepared to match their money.londonowl said:
Nail on the head there. He can’t take any flak. As far as he’s concerned all he’s done is spend £100m on us because ‘he is part of the Wednesday family now’ and we should be eternally grateful, not daring to question him.Henry Irving said:
Seems so.Rob7Lee said:And people are surprised he employed KM! Match made in heaven it is beginning to seem.
He clearly wanted someone experienced in dealing with (ignoring) unhappy fans for him and so who better than KM.
The fact that he bought the club for a knockdown £35m with dreams of Premier League riches and has managed to waste the other £60m on overpaid, over the hill ‘stars’ on ridiculously long contracts (Steven Fletcher 40k a week for 4 years anyone) whilst putting prices up to pretty much the highest in the division, plastering his name over everything and basically shutting out all local businesses or other sponsorship seems lost on him.
The biggest worry about us taking on KM is the fact that she seems to have no shame and will push through absolutely anything regardless of what anyone thinks.
That for me is a clear sign of our owners intentions now. Not necessarily how he started but he hasn’t been able to handle the criticism so I guess he is going to spend more time in Thailand and let KM take the flak for what I assume will be increasingly ‘nasty’ pronouncements.0 -
If you have any spare strikers can we borrow one?0

What % of season ticket holders have we lost since RD took charge?
There's a poll on that owlstalk site and already just over 17% of ST holders say they won't be renewing next season.
The Katrien effect working wonders again.11 -
This has got nothing to do with the thread but it’s not worth me starting a new one so I figured if just ask on the top thread - can anyone tell me what song plays at The Valley before the start of the second half?0

I’m also wondering which is better for mashed potatoes? Standard White or Maris Piper?

TBF however much I loathe what daisy has done at Charlton and the contempt she has shown us, I doubt she will be as bad for you. She has learnt from some of her mistakes ☺.2 -

I wonder what Lungi's degree is in?
Then have a look at the requirements for the HR manager at Wednesday includes as 'desirable'.

My favourite CL thread of all time. I actually have it bookmarked to bring it up again in celebration when douche finally goesStig said:If any Wednesday fans want a glimpse of the destruction that Daisy can do. take a look at this thread and the individual stories of Charlton fans, how long they've supported and what the effects have been on them. I warn you though, it doesn't make pretty reading. Heartbreaking, in fact.

She has still, yes still tonight, got the same profile picture on LinkedIn with the big Charlton logo in the background.
She is very quick to try and 'clean' criticism where it appears on websites but not so keen to attend to her own goddamn professional interface on LinkedIn.
You can only report(flag) a LinkedIn profile if it is deemed to be offensive.
I find the KM profile with her shamelessly utilising the badge/logo of Charlton Athletic offensive given that this was a woman who dismissed over 100 years of the Club's history with the insulting words 'I don't care.'
