Have to admit to being very pleased with ManUre performance post Fergie but especially special to see the Special One lose it again.
Initially was a fan but that went out the window big time just before he started to lose his players at Chelsea.
Mourinho would have won any of those games, yes they have played well and playing better football but lets not sugar coat it, they smashed 2 teams who are considered among the worst in the league : Udders/ Cardiff, Bournemouth - Have been in awful form and cant defend, Newcastle probably the trickiest so far but again generally push overs for united bar last season.
Still too early on the united front, but they are playing better and Rashford is on good form and now playing as a proper striker so thats a bonus!
Last games was decent, City deserved the win. Did anyone see Citys penalty claim, where the commentators claimed it was a dive in real time, they went on to show the replay but made no comment on whether they still felt it was a dive or a penalty. Really think the media have been proper OTT with liverpool, yes they have done well but they get no negative press compared to the other teams at the top. Likewise Salah diving every game and noone mentions it? I would prefer City to win, mainly down to the fans of both and City fans have more class. Alot of good performances Aguero was up for it from the off, B Silva, Stones, Sane (2nd half, didnt really start off great). Liverpools best player was TAA on the night, also Robertson is class too.Special mention for Mane who kept cheating but still causes so many problems and gets into games more than Salah.... Lovren the donkey is probably the difference why they didnt win, also Sane goal vs Salah chance right after looked identical to me but one keeper saved it and/ or Sane just was more clinical. Small margins at least we have a title race on our hands now!
Not sure I understand the general clamour for Man City to turn Liverpool over.
Over the last 10 years City have received an incredible £1.3bn financing from their owner and spent a net £906m on player purchases
I make it that Liverpool have spent on players £860m in the last decade so not a lot between the two. Liverpool would have recouped more through sales over that period.
.
£906m sounds not much more than £860m but Liverpool sales have been quite substantial. Mainly enforced but when you take into account Courtinho, Suarez and Sterling plus some others I expect Liverpool's net spend is closer to £500m, certainly below £600m. £600m is certainly a lot less than City's £906m. Incidentally I also expect it less than Manure's and Chelsea's.
They're just the usual stewards who look after the referee when he walks off the pitch surely as the one on the left just runs past Mendy
I dont think so, they both ran towards him looked at him saw it was Mendy and carried on running to hide their mistake.
Was listening to the game on radio and the commentators said they ran towards Mendy as if he was a pitch invader before realizing who he was
Could be that too yet there doesnt appear to be anyone else going to escort them off - they dont usually mess around getting over to them at the Valley at the end of a game
Because he's the wrong side of 30, almost out of contract and has only been playing with one leg for the last season and a half. He has had a chronic hip injury for the last 3 years.
Will be gutted when he goes, he has been brilliant for us.

If that injury has taken its toll then perhaps it's more understandable that he's taken the Chinese RMB. Hip injuries seems to be nightmare, as Andy Murray is sadly finding
Burnley became only the 5th club in the history of the PL to win a game without having had a shot on target - even if they do try and claim that the shot for the first was going in anyway. And the first to score twice doing so.
The prolific striker Shane Long's last 4 goals for Southampton (almost 2 years to score them) have come under 4 different Managers.

Disappointed that a player of his ability would go to China aged only 31
Really hope he goes elsewhere
That defeat today means they are only 4 points above 18th
Palace only 4 points clear though, so certainly aren't safe, though you'd expect them to win enough games to survive.

I still expect Cardiff to go with them.
Unfortunately i genuinely don't see Palace as being the next worst side. Think they'll end up at least 14th or 15th place
De Gea has made 5 or 6 top top saves.
Nice United goal but since then Spurs have been well on top.
