That said neither are producing or have produced enough for so called front line batsmen.

A few injury replacements called up for the A match, but Crawley is the only Kent player. A decent looking side though, both Warks openers have been called up so it'll be interesting where Crawley bats

Good to see Kent blooding another youngster. If Cox does well then a Crawley Cox opening pair and Robinson in the middle order would give us lots to look forward to in the future2

Elsewhere a weird day at Trent Bridge where all 10 Surrey wickets on the first day (240 all out) fell to spinners. Not a great way for Stuart Broad to get ready for the Ashes though!
