There is a point where reality strikes though. Charlie Austin has just moved for 4M. League 1 last season is proof Taylor is worth more than Toney. Although I rate Toney if this doesn't unsettle him at a Peterborough enough to make him push them to accept a reasonable offer then really this ends one way. Taylor at Brentford & no one of note at Charlton

this changes things completely. clearly something has gone wrong between Taylor and the club and is forcing the move. we are desperate to find a replacement but are struggling to do so, that 4 million would be the money we would be getting from the taylor sale.

If one or both of these is true then you're definitely on the ITK list. These would be amazing transfers if they occurred. No idea how this is within budget, though.

The Peterborough stuff feels like their chairman knows Roland is such an arse he wouldn't deny it, so it plays well to their fans. I think Toney is decent enough but no way a 4mil player.

We should be asking Brentford for £12m for Lyle anyway.
