Well we all find out on the next few days about the kits dont we.  Personally I like them but the green isn’t what I was expecting but the aesthetic  is surprisingly vivid…..

    No, this abomination

No only a hideous design, but had an orange tinge to it.

May well be no truth in it, but rumours that the away is white with horizontal stripes, 3rd is black with gold trim
    I may have heard similar.
Isn’t the correct term  ‘hoops’ ??

based on the speculation, I'd expect the away kit to look a bit like this, obviously with our logos and made by Hummel

So long as it's not like this: sleeves and sides ruined it.

Black and gold brings back memories of the glorious Dowie half-season.

Surprised that Hummel are now the third biggest provider here in England

Behind Puma and the one in white (is it Joma?)

Surprised how few teams are wearing Nike now

Or to be precise how few teams are wearing "catalogue" Nike now, I guess they've all made the same decision as us, that they'd prefer something more bespoke

  • Interesting wheel, thanks for sharing. I miss Admiral, have they gone bust or just no longer in the kit manufacturer game ?

Errea seem a proper League One and Two specialist although I can see QPR in there.

Admiral supplied Shrewsbury's kit last season, but think that was the only team they supplied in this country at least

There are also 8 suppliers with just one club. Doncaster for example produce their own kit

Would expect it to be pretty much this (Oldham's third kit from last season)

Would people be ok with a gold badge instead of the usual colouring?

For it to look good, any sponsor would also need to be in gold

Having a monochrome badge is not.messing with it. Anyway the club have changed badges numerous times in the past. You never know, the club may have just the sword as the badge on the 3rd shirt lime the 70's kit had.

We lost our rights to mess with the badge after mounting it on a green shield back when we had those monstrous green away shirts, that was an outrage.
