  • There are also 8 suppliers with just one club. Doncaster for example produce their own kit

Fugati do some pretty smart kits. Surprised they are not on the list tbh
  • Driving back up the A12 yesterday and saw a car with the registration number SW15DOM. Anything to do with you @Swisdom?
Anyway, thank you for your financial support of our club.
  • That Oldham black kit is very nice…always should get a bit of license to play around with the 3rd kit a bit I think and do something different.

The same for us with a gold badge would look good

I'm hoping its less like this

    And more like this
Would expect it to be pretty much this (Oldham's third kit from last season)

Would people be ok with a gold badge instead of the usual colouring?

For it to look good, any sponsor would also need to be in gold
No, don’t mess with the badge.

Having a monochrome badge is not.messing with it. Anyway the club have changed badges numerous times in the past. You never know, the club may have just the sword as the badge on the 3rd shirt lime the 70's kit had.
We lost our rights to mess with the badge after mounting it on a green shield back when we had those monstrous wonderful green away shirts, that was an outrage.

Not me but I do know of him.  We have the same name and did work in the same sector but we are very different people😀

    Those green shields were grim.

The ecru away shirt badge in 98/99 was the same colour as the shirt.

Shirts were fantastic. Shields were unnecessary.

Saw an old boy wearing the top one in Eltham the other day.
  • Loved those kits. I don’t get being precious on the badge, especially on an away kit.
  • They were an abomination, especially the half white half green & purple.
  • The museum have one of each coming up for sale soon.

Respectfully disagree. That's probably among my top 5 away tops over the last 28 years.

    1. Charlton 4-2 Arsenal Black and Red
    2. Ecru Mesh shirt
    3. 05/06 White Away shirt (Joma?)
    4. 19/20 black with purple and green stripes.
    5. White/ Green & Purple quaser top.

Or the actually see through one?

    No, this abomination

No only a hideous design, but had an orange tinge to it.
That is the worst shirt we have ever had imo.
    Centenary shirts( both) trump this

Funny story about that Carbrini shirt... I emailed the then fans director, (think a few on here may know him) to tell him I wouldn't be buying it as it looked like a lower league shirt and I doubted it would make the club any money as no one would buy it and I was certain we'd get relegated in it.

We were then relegated in it.

Totally agree. We had 100 years to come up with a decent centenary shirt and we got that abomination. Hey ho, roll on the 150th anniversary shirt.

Did you email him a “told you so” email at the end of the season though?

    That's good to hear.

I would guess it was something like "it's the players, not the shirt, that matter".

That's what I would have said, anyway.
