Yeah it's lovely, so a shame we'll maybe see it twice!0

Haven't bought a kit top for years and haven't been in the club shop since we started to realise RD was a wrong un but think i may have to get in there before the wednesday game and unload some wonga. That black top could get a weekly outing at Goals i reckon.0

Shame this looks to be the last year of Hummel, shirts will always divide opinion but the end result has been the best group of kits we've probably ever had. And there has always been thought put into the process as opposed to a lazy template option.
I've heard that we could be getting Castore from next season...0 -

Really impressed with Castore. Their Rangers stuff is fantastic.Rufus is a dogs name said:Shame this looks to be the last year of Hummel, shirts will always divide opinion but the end result has been the best group of kits we've probably ever had. I like it...except (IMO) all away kits should also have an element of red...its our colour. Red piping or some red on the shorts. All black and gold...looks nice but keep thinking something is missing!0

Blue one was worn 4 times last season (though the turquoise one before that was unused!).hudson-son-son said:Yeah it's lovely, so a shame we'll maybe see it twice!0 -

It would be a shame IMO. Always comfy with a move to a firm who were on the up or wanting to make a name for themselves.MuttleyCAFC said:

We were one of Hummel's first British clubs (in their second wave) so there would be a parallel with moving to Castore, who are just moving into football nowRothko said:

As long as it's not a Nike/Adidas/Puma catalogue kit, I don't mind2 -

Yeah, only 'big' firm I would have liked is Umbro, but Castore would be good, the stuff they've done for Wolves, Newcastle and Rangers is pretty good0

Just showed that to my 6yr old and asked him what he thought..."10 out of 10" apparently! Bit flash, but another good effort from hummel. That stockley tweet is hilarious too!

They also do the kit for Andy Murray, who's always injured, whereas our players are...Rothko said:Yeah, only 'big' firm I would have liked is Umbro, but Castore would be good, the stuff they've done for Wolves, Newcastle and Rangers is pretty good1 -
On the subject of Castore & Newcastle, I can't get the big number '4' out of my head when looking at their new shirt...

Isn’t Andy Murray something to do with owning Castore?2

He's got an investment in them, quite a small company, but attracting some serious fundingValleyGary said:Isn’t Andy Murray something to do with owning Castore?0 -
I'll be honest, I'd like to see us sticking with Hummel, Castore make the kits for Rangers and Newcastle, 2 teams that have had association with Mike Ashley, one of the scummiest men around, and by that association alone I wouldn't want anything to do with them0

If people think Hummel is expensive wait until they see the pricing on Castore’s stuff (it is really, really nice though).ValleyGary said:

Decent kit, but call me old fashioned whats a third kit all about? Should be our away one.

Hummel make the kits for Charlton, who have had an association with Matt Southall!sam3110 said:I'll be honest, I'd like to see us sticking with Hummel, Castore make the kits for Rangers and Newcastle, 2 teams that have had association with Mike Ashley, one of the scummiest men around, and by that association alone I wouldn't want anything to do with them8 -

We wore 4 kits in 89/90 so it's not a new thing, only difference being they didn't sell the third kits back then.cafcsinger said:Decent kit, but call me old fashioned whats a third kit all about? Should be our away one.0 -

Find it really strange that we've announced the third kit first when we will wear it twice all season. It's nice don't get me wrong but bizzare.1

Gonna be: black,
white and
red all over...🤣😂0 -
As @cafc999 has revealed I'm a firm believer in sticking with the house style of the badge but I got outvoted at the consultation. It's a third kit so the designers can go a bit wild and I do like the 70s badge. Gold and black are classic colours and work well together
Not sure how it commemorates the centenary, would have liked a sleeve patch or scroll but not to be.
Seems to have gone down well and those who buy shirts like it so a good.
The black shorts will be handy as we'll be able to wear red, black, red when needed.4 -

Wasn’t aware of that. Are you aware of anywhere on the internet they can all be seen?Talal said:

Cambridge's Hummel third kit has a similar patch below the neck, maybe this is similar to what the away kit will be based on the rumours

Red and blue come to mind, what else did we wear that season?TeeC said:

Four from these maybe? - Looks like we had six kits between 1988-1990TeeC said:
