I had hoped that this was a joke, they've replied to someone though saying that they're deadly serious
Sandgaard is going to regret this fan adviser role at this rate, let alone the person who decided to take on the job.
We're getting very close to the point where we just need the Football to start now.
If the club are going to hype up the release of kits then they have to accept that they are creating the false impression in some peoples minds that it actually matters.
What? You realise that every club in the country hypes up kit releases every single summer. It’s not just us. I understand people disliking a kit, but there’s nothing in this design which should annoy someone as much as this person on Twitter.
Any chance they’ll do men’s sizes for the women’s shirt do you reckon?
I guess the main shirt sponsor might object if we were selling large numbers of the women's one? And I really don't have the figure to wear the actual women's shirt, even if they did make one in my size.
And more votes so far for the Nike kit than the centenary one.
Seems fair to me. The centenary shirt was a bland design, let down more by the shirts themselves which were terrible quality. The Carbrini and Nike ones were both genuinely hopeless designs that had nothing ‘Charlton’ about them. The 09/10 one wasn’t that bad really, although a bit forgettable.
The V design Nike kit wasn't as bad as a lot of people make out, the biggest problem with it was the fact that it was paired with red shorts and hooped socks, the shirt on its own is ok, not the best design we've ever had but not the worst.
It also defines the RD/KM era so it also has a stigma attached to it.
If they reversed the colours and made it white with a red V at the top, paired it with white shorts and black socks and claimed it was a callback to the 60's shirts, we would all be jerking off over how great it looks!
Anyway, here's hoping the away shirt revealed today calls back to the 60's kit

Precisely. In the never ending search for “content” to feed the demand from social media for something, anything, new to talk about kit launches have become a major event - especially at a time of year when there isn’t much actual football to talk about. (some) People getting too invested in it is a consequence, and every club will have at least one person like this lady who loses perspective*.
