The V design Nike kit wasn't as bad as a lot of people make out, the biggest problem with it was the fact that it was paired with red shorts and hooped socks, the shirt on its own is ok, not the best design we've ever had but not the worst.
It also defines the RD/KM era so it also has a stigma attached to it.
If they reversed the colours and made it white with a red V at the top, paired it with white shorts and black socks and claimed it was a callback to the 60's shirts, we would all be jerking off over how great it looks!
Anyway, here's hoping the away shirt revealed today calls back to the 60's kit
I had hoped that this was a joke, they've replied to someone though saying that they're deadly serious
Sandgaard is going to regret this fan adviser role at this rate, let alone the person who decided to take on the job.
We're getting very close to the point where we just need the Football to start now.
If the club are going to hype up the release of kits then they have to accept that they are creating the false impression in some peoples minds that it actually matters.
What? You realise that every club in the country hypes up kit releases every single summer. It’s not just us. I understand people disliking a kit, but there’s nothing in this design which should annoy someone as much as this person on Twitter.
Precisely. In the never ending search for “content” to feed the demand from social media for something, anything, new to talk about kit launches have become a major event - especially at a time of year when there isn’t much actual football to talk about. (some) People getting too invested in it is a consequence, and every club will have at least one person like this lady who loses perspective*.
*I’m discounting that she has an extreme phobia to darts or uneven cuffs, apologies if so
I'm hearing the away kit launch has been delayed because Tucker, Maatsen, Soloman-Otabor and Sims are all in the photoshoot but although they've all definitely 100% signed we haven't told anyone yet
Can reveal my sources, but I'll let you know if I hear any Moore, and I'll try and keep it all covered, end of the day we're all Lads here that support the Addicks, if you're 59, 89 or 19

Maybe they are going to reveal the away kit with unavailing Ronnie Schwartz as a new signing as we’ve seen so little of him it feels like a new signing, clever and cost effective!!!!😂
My guess is that they're pushing the open training session tickets this morning so shirt will be after the 1.00pm deadline.
Deeply disappointing. Does anyone have the fan representative’s email address.
I had been thoroughly looking forward to moaning about some inconsequential aspect of the new shirt. Delaying the matter is extremely unfair. Sort it out Charlton.

I’ve literally never been this disappointed with a Charlton delayed announcement 😉

Hope not..looks like he's been run over by a someone on a unicycle rampage.
Still struggling to see any sword in those stripes, only arrows
"Meanwhile, the Addicks’ 2021/22 away kit will be revealed on Thursday."
