Tommy Smith [Huddersfield - Stoke] Undisclosed .. Stoke really going for it. He becomes their seventh summer signing, following Nick Powell, Adam Davies, Liam Lindsay, Lee Gregory, Jordan Cousins and Stephen Ward. (Parachute money stretches a looooong way + the free sex foive cash)

Most of those signings don't especially excite me to be honest. Other than Powell, there don't seem to be many goals and Stoke were very low scorers last season

Stoke have Gregory | Afobe | Berahino | Diouf | Vokes | Bojan as their strikers
They need to find someone to create the chances for that bunch as they've each got goals in them
Imagine Nick Powell (IF he can stay fit) will be one to do that, they do need more creativity

Fortunately for them they have offloaded Berahino, agree there’s 40/50 goals there if they can create the chances.
Yeah saw on a twitter account yesterday that Berahino was training with Zulte Waregem in Belgium yet it mentioned he was still under contract with Stoke for another three years so didn't quite understand it
Diouf said this about their fans last season, so i can't see him staying there.
"The English public is demanding but frankly our fans are the worst! They are real fans but they do not encourage their players. If you just miss a pass they moan. It’s really hard.”

The high expectations when you've been in the PL for a long time and expect to get promoted straight away after relegation...
Don’t know if there’s a rumours thread or elsewhere or even if this is public info but Gary O’Neil signing for scum , team he supported as a kid
Few years ago he was a decent player, but 36 now - not sure that is a great move for Millwall.
Personally similar move to Prattley imo, experienced journeyman who might do the business. Not going to stand out but could be a good bit of business still
he looked injured and knackered at the end of last season .. a spell in the sun will do him good .. incidentally, he's been one of my favourite players over the past few seasons, having seen him first play against us for Burnley .. all the very best of good luck and fortune to him

Fabian Delph joins Everton for up to £10m. Think that's a decent buy for them

Said if injuries have taken their toll etc, thought he looked a really good player when he first arrived at Stoke.

Please let this not be true.

At least he'll know the stadium, having playing there in the Champions League final!
