With O'Connell out injured, I'm surprised we sent him out on loan. I assume Elewere will return?
Innis and Thomas with Lavelle as backup for the time being I would have thought
Innis still has one game suspension midweek. Is Clare suspended now for 5 yellows?
Yes he is... Had two games to go until he avoided it

But will miss the FA Cup - Glad you've pointed that out, as I had included him in my Preview team for that game
And how does he get booked? Backchatting the ref over the walls position.

Would imagine they would bring Back Richard Chin for that one. Egbo looked like a thigh injury so may be a few weeks
Yeah be very surprised if Richard isnt involved... Be curious to see who the other full-back is, wonder if Toby Bower will be tested @ Left-Back

No I think it was feet 2" over the line that the ref had drawn on the pitch. Pretty sure it was this as he was pointing to the line

He was told to move back several times before the ref booked him.

Didn't he actually get booked for kicking the ball away? Completely pointless from any player, let alone a centre-back with lots of captaincy experience.

He is a quality defender and attacks well. Some great crosses and goals. He captained the under 18s last week.

    He played on Saturday
  • Torquay just won 6-1. They were bottom before the game having won 2 of 16 and were playing mid table Aldershot.  Not bad.  I see they also had a Lapslie playing - does George have a brother?

Playing in the FA Cup against Derby on TV.

Given Garner's comments about possible recalls is it wise to get him Cup tied? On the other hand this will be great experience as Derby are fielding a strong side.
  • Damn didnt realise the game had already started, thought it was a 4:30pm KO

He not being recalled that’s why we allowed him to play

  • Can't remember if we did all the puns at the time.

    Might nick a goal.
    Arresting performance.

I mean it was less than 24-hours ago when Garner said that we may have to recall the Centre-Backs from the National League - So I'm impressed if you know, when he probably hasn't even decided himself as yet.

Argh just seen the goal back - Not really on Ness, as the bloke marking the scorer goes to sleep and doesnt track back - But the scorer does well to get to the ball and strike ahead of Ness getting the block.

2-1 and Derby down to 10 men

12 to go but Derby look reasonably comfortable

Ness not got a lot to do tbf

Ness was quite busy in the 1st half but with Derby down to 10 not so much this half.
Just realized that Ness is 20 and Deji is still 19 but I would think that Deji may get the call first to cover the CB drop outs with Inniss reaching his max !

Quality!  Torquay equalise with the last kick of the game.  Great stuff
  • Can't beat the fa cup. Torquay got what the deserved. They battered Derby 2nd half. Excellent game
  • Starts for Torquay tonight in their FA Cup Replay... Game is set to KO at Derby in little over 5mins
  • That was some own goal.
