A massive thanks to Bowyer, Jacko and team...

Once tonight's disappointment is over we can reflect on a mixed season that we were never expected to compete in. And one in which the team gave their all.

There were a good number of highs early in the season and ultimately the deserved lows that caught us up. The Fulham boat trip and the Naby Sarr equaliser at QPR will stay with me forever.

We had the lowest budget in the division and I think the players have really done us proud. Particularly those that were playing non-league earlier in the season. Aside from Taylor and I really hate to say it, Solly. The players gave it their all.

One day we'll be rid of shit owners. But that won't be enough, other teams will also suffer the same fate. FUCK THE EFL.

Let's send the players support on social media.

Hopefully not - means we can’t get relegated.

Real Charlton boys. And there's not many of them left.

Fear for us if they go.

Bloody hell Bowyer and the team could massacre children and you’d let it go.

Sorry, had we had even a little more tactical management, we would have stayed up. We were fucked by that, combined with Taylor’s injury and departure, and that of Gallagher.  I’m not proud of being relegated, we went down in a flurry of poor football and turgid inability to hit an elephants arse with a banjo.

Huge respect for the management team and senior management (not ESI) who have had nothing but turmoil to deal with and have done their best for us.

Don't begrudge any of them for wanting to move on which no doubt will happen!

Thanks for all your efforts and good luck in the future wheteher with us or else where!

Think they’re a great set up backed by complete arseholes.
We’d be bobbing about in League One still if Bowyer, JJ and Gallen weren’t in post.

Not forgetting. that Scumbag Taylor who let them all down, Bowyer, Jacko and the Boys deserved to stay
up and did very well, none of them deserved to go down they way they did, and have the misfortune of
Roland Rat and Matt Southall also!!!!

Absolute support: for the lads who did us proud, playing out of their skins; LB and JJ for their leadership and ability to keep going despite Rome burning around them; Steve Gallen's vital work with recruitment and Steve Avory with the youngsters; so many more wonderful people at OUR CLUB. Thank you one and all.

Massive thanks to them and the loan players that gave a lung for this great club.

As for the ones that are trying to destroy it and contributed to our downfall, I hope you suffer painful terminal diseases not yet discovered by man, that you roll in pain like a worm in bleach, and die undignified.

Yep worked miracles this year when you contend with

Losing Bauer and Aribo on free transfers
    Losing Bielik
3 month Injury crisis meaning we had to recall youngsters from non league
3 shitty ownerships who have failed to back the team
Star striker refusing to play the last 9 games
Losing Gallagher in January and replacing him with McGeady and Smith
Club captain refusing to play the remaining 9 games
There's probably more, thanks for the memories I don't blame you if you want to get out.

Exactly, even through all this we managed to compete in many games and rarely were on the end of a hiding. Indeed if you cast your mind back to many of our results we only lost by one goal or drew a game because of one mistake or lack of concentration that was punished.

Yes we weren't very good, and yes some of the football we played we turgid, but to fight to the very end through all of that, and let's not forget the shit show upstairs, is testament to Bowyer, the staff and the players.

I hope we keep Bowyer next year, he has proven he can get out out of the league, and if by some miracle we manage to get some decent owners who back him I think he will do it again.

Anyone who is complaining about lack of tactical awareness etc has played to much football manager or FIFA.

Oh yeah, he’s gone for sure. Don’t blame him. We have to start all over again with the likes of Russell Slade

I have nothing but huge respect to the players that stayed to try and save our season and to the management for what it sounds like an uphill battle. All the parasites that sucked the life out of this club are not worth thinking about.

    Totally agree, @Eynsfordaddick .

Thanks for the memories, lads .

Heroes one and all in spite of all the cr*p you had to deal with and almost total lack of support from our so called owners.

You all deserve SO much better.

Stay strong and look to your futures in a better place.

Thank you to everyone that's given everything for this club over the past 12 months and beyond. What you've achieved, in spite of this relegation, is inspiring.

As for ESI/Duchebag/EFL etc ...F*** YOU!

At least if Bowyer walks away our owners won't be able to take any compensation as we wouldn't be due any!

I think your the one with fucking issues......

How badly are so many of our squad at the basics of the game. Poor corners, free kicks , mistakes after mistakes, poor subs on a consistent basis. These things could have been worked on and sorted, they were not.

Gutted, but I think when we did the poll at the start of the season I thought we'd get relegated due to the thinness of our squad, although that was before we got Field, Leko and Gallagher in on loan. Given the background turmoil, the massive injury crisis mid-season and so on, the management team have worked miracles to keep us in it for as long as they did.

Considering all that happened off the pitch and the lack of investment on it, Bowyer, his staff and the players did amazingly to get us to the final day of the season. I fear that unless something changes very soon and there is a little more certainty next season could be worse than anything we have endured up to now. I so hope I am wrong
