@PalaceHater yep nothing much will change because of the protest today or the continued occupation, but what’s happened to our club is now being noticed. The press have latched on, ITV London news covering it tonight, Sky rolling sports news. Heather Mck becoming the voice of Charlton on Football talk shows. The Sun article that wasn’t a load of bull (because that bellend Nixon hadn’t written it). Henry Winter tweeting about it. It’s publicity it’s highlighting our plight. Our local MPs have been active as well.
It means that the EFL are under increased political pressure, they know they have to do something to tighten up football ownership, it may lead to change in the way the League is financed (it may not), it may stop chancers like Southall, Farnell et al getting near any more clubs.
We won’t know until @a@"Airman Brown" has written the second Battle for the Valley book in a few years time but we’ve made a stand, drawn a line in the sand. Enough is enough.
I categorically deny that I was the one who left the Canadian money at the feet of Sam Bartram. Wish I'd thought of that though. Great day out. Well done all.
Unless you are living under a rock you know the efl are cnuts, entering the ground illegally and helping yourself to bottles of wine isn’t going to look great is it, and now with the police attending just don’t think it puts the fans in a fantastic light.
Each to there own, but ultimately elliots case is 1st sept? So I don’t not see how today will effect that.
What a wally.
It is the way you get things done. Please enlighten us to what you are actually doing.
I would have a whole shilling on that your total contribution to date has been lying in bed boycotting.
The type of response on here, You don’t even know someone and you call them a wally and second guess what sort of fan I am.
I’m a pretty regular attender so feel free to come and see me next time we are allowed back to games.
But you find it OK to call fans thieves.
It is clear that they arrived with provisions and plan to stay a while, but you are judge and feel free to post what you like based on what you would like to believe with no evidence and obviously second guessed what sort of fans they are. Double standards?
I will happily apologise if my conclusion was wrong and buy you a beer. So go on. Tell all.
Dw mate I’m not that hard up for a drink.
did the fans enter today lawfully? - no did “some” fans help themselves to bottles of red - yes
i don’t give a shit about opinions etc, was just commenting that I don’t want the club to be put in a bad light.
Consider me done cheers all
Done throwing out some random accusations or done with hating everything & everyone including Palace...u were already told it was peaceful already told nothing was nicked...but you continued to comment over & over...if you really want to help with the cause, just put ya hands up say ya fucking wrong and salute the ones what were there fighting for our very existence...then maybe next time, join them...👍
Just found out my nephew and niece were both there today, each with their respective new babies (in CAFC clobber). 4th generation join the battle. There's a lovely pic, but I'd need to get their permission
Someone that joined in October 2019 telling me thanks for my support🤣🤣
Comments like this are so disrespectful it's untrue. WTF has how long you have been a member of Charlton life got to do with how long, how well, or how credible your support has been?
There’s a long list of people involved in this whose face I’d love to wallop but Nad is right up there. Absolute joke of a man, really hate keyboard warriors.

All this sniping is always going to happen but it really is a total waste of everyone’s effort and for me looks bad no matter who is doing it.
With a decently diverse fan bases we aren’t all going to be the same, react in the same way or believe in anything other than that the Addicks are our team and need to be supported as much as we are able.
of you would like to see something happen in a different way to what you see happening, do something about it.
There is CAST, which has a large membership mainly comprised of those who can stomach working within a traditional committee environment but with a great bunch of people at the helm all of whom provide a lot of time and experience for free.
There is CARD, who have provided fantastic actions during the duchatelet years and have a great bunch of people, some also in CAST all trying to do their best for the club.
There is FansForFans which is taking more direct action without the need for committee approval and which has been very effective.
Other groups have done their own thing.
What is common amongst all these affiliations is that all the members are trying as best as they can to do their best for the club.
No grouping can be everything to everyone but if you want to make a difference in these matters, try and help one of these in some way or find another way to help. Slagging each other off is not the way to go.

First and foremost is it the truth or is it individuals continuing to muddy the waters and so paint the protestors in a bad light?
