Addicks,
With infinite sadness I must inform you that earlier this evening Jean passed away after a long illness. Jean's extraordinary courage and determination took her deep into added time, but the end when it came was a merciful release.
I regret to say that the words I need seem momentarily to be absent, but I will write further.

Condolences & best wishes to Jean's family & friends, including to you GHF as I know you were good friends.
condolences to her family
I only got to know Jean a little because of the protests and our "War Women". For people who casually say football is "just a game" - at times like this they really don't get it.
Despite her amazing courage and fighting spirit, it's so very sad that Jean didn't live to see her beloved Charlton back in safe hands.
My heart goes out to her close Charlton friends.
Knew it was coming but still hard to hear.
A good friend to Bromley Addicks and the museum and just a massive Charlton fan.
So sad right now.
Rest in peace Jean
