Oh my God...... such sad news to wake up to.......
She was one of the small group of kind people (led by Fanny Fanackapan and GlassHalfFull) that arranged and prepared amazing presents for me for quite a few times over the past few years. So sad I didn't even have the chance to meet her......
Rest in peace Jean. My thoughts go out to Jean's family and friends.
What sad news Alan, you will miss her dreadfully as you were such good friends. I first met Jean in Belgium. She had a very kind heart and was very generous in her support of good causes. She battled on but I'm glad she is now free of pain. My condolences to all her good friends who knew her much better than me. May perpetual light shine upon. May she rest in peace.
Very sad news , the museum recently sold her Charlton shirt collection with all funds going to the hospice which raised about £700. She then won another shirt in our most recent shirt auction. A big supporter of the museum. Rest in peace Jean.
She literally opened up her home for me (a complete stranger but a fellow Charlton fan) when I needed to be in Charlton very early for a trip to Belgium. That was Jean, a wonderfully generous person and such a dedicated supporter. Sadly missed. R.I.P. Jean
Am I right in thinking Jean was that little lady that used to sell the raffle tickets and used to go to the Bromley meetings. So gutted. She was such a lovely lady. We have lost so many people this year. That is probably the 9th person I know that have passed away this year Les Turner, Seb, my aunt, Syd etc. RIP lady x All very nice people.
No Rudders, that is Jean Tindell, who is also not in the best of health I believe. RIP Jean King.

I got to meet Jean through the protests - a truly lovely person.
I know she will be very much missed by all who knew her.

Always used to enjoy her postings about her "gangs" away trips so special condolences to her fellow travellers on those trips.
RIP Jean King.
