So many clubs across the league's are having long injury lists. It seems like never before the amount of injured players. I wonder whether the lockdown has put back their fitness a lot longer than would have been anticipated. Elite sportsmen (Not many in our squad) will train for 6 months ahead of a race, event etc. I wonder if professional players simply sat back too much and as soon as they are into a long heavy duty season, they are getting found out, with injuries.
Innis has a lot of running to do then! 7 weeks worth. Is he training for a marathon?
Not sued to see we played Shinnie through a minor niggle. It was at a time we were on a winning run. Although if he had a niggle we could have rotated but.....
There was some talk recently that Inniss was recovering more quickly than expected ...... but the medical team were afraid to risk him ahead of schedule? They would have sound reasons, of course, maybe risk of relapse?
No chance, we'll then lose Gunter | Maatsen | Purrington | Matthews and we'll be complaining about having no Full-Backs
We'll have Williams and Maddison both injured
"I'm gutted, that's two of my best creative players out. We're struggling to score goals, but no other team in the division would cope with losing two top, top players"
One thing I have learned as a Charlton fan is to never expect a fully fit squad. Always feels like 1 step forward and 2 steps back with our injuries to key players.
So wtf are we doing not signing a CB? Inniss 2 weeks away from a further scan, and Famewo not back for Portsmouth. Makes Bowyer's stubbornness over the subject even more baffling.
Genuinely sick and tired of our repeated injury problems, it can't just be bad luck.

We have to move away from signing players like Innis. Decent player at this level but he is 25 and has never played more than 22 games in a season. Another player made of glass. We have bought so many to the club in this mould in recent years.

He's been injured for over a month. Just no mention since.
Akin Famewo is still a month away from being back with Ryan Inniss expected to be another six to seven weeks.

Maddison's injury isnt as bad as first feared, seems Bowyer kicked the training ground cat when he found out
