How can Billionaires be as thick as pig shit ?
Chelsea and Man city will pull out this evening.
The other English clubs will pull out tomorrow.
If the 6 teams aren't given a 25 point penalty for next season it will be a total disgrace.

Everyone pulling out apparently. Talks happened and no one going through with it.0

Why would the current ownership of a club vote to handover 51% of their share?ForeverAddickted said:

Ultimately football clubs in the English professional leagues are almost all private businesses (aside from the couple of Supporters Trust owned clubs), I’m not really sure how the government can unilaterally reconstitute the ownership structure of 92 private companies.1 -
So it's beginning to look like a collusion between a number of the larger teams to get rid of Tottenham from the Premier League.18

It's Spurs, they'll still finish second at best even if they're the only team left in ithoof_it_up_to_benty said:Tottenham will win by default. .

If it all collapses the fans of these clubs will turn on the owners - it should be entertaining...5

They can now finally win something!hoof_it_up_to_benty said:Tottenham will win by default. .0 -
The government can do what they want surely. They can pass a law saying any professional football club as an asset to the community and must have a community ownership percentage. They could change stadium licensing rules so that only part community owned clubs can play. They could refuse work permits to clubs that have no community ownership. The lists goes on and on. They already prevent protected sports from being sold to pay to view, so there's precedent for government interfering in the free market with regards to sport.1
