Something don't add up here. I just can't see how you would agree to jump ship without hard evidence or agreements in place. Unless there all fucking naive or there is something else bigger at play here.
It was an attempted coup and it appears to have failed. Think from it there will be talks about changing the UCL sooner than 2024, but I think the takeaway is that the bullies of football have just discovered the little guys they are picking on have older brothers who are willing to smack them about
Seems to me that these silly greedy c***s have really pissed on their own chips by thinking they are bigger than the game of football. Not only is their ridiculous elitist anti competitive league about to collapse, they will lose all their negotiating power too. The football authorities should be strong and decisive here and put the boot in hard while they are on the back foot, make sure they punish them for trying to steal the game to stop it happening again.

Maybe Chelsea and Man City only agreed knowing it would all blow up and that they'd suffer the least backlash by getting out first. Man city have always been upset at the way the historic big club look down at their new money, this could be a genius way of putting the boot into Man Utdz Liverpool, Barca, Real, Milan and Juve, et al. Bayern didn't fall for the bait and maybe PSG were warned off

Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and Real Madrid I think are the 4 that have been pushing it behind the scenes the most.
