Sandgaard got his 5-2 win!
Not a clean sheet unfortunately and, to be honest, I can’t comment on their two goals in quick succession because just after we scored my internet went out and when it came back 5 minutes later we were down 1-2!
In the second half we started with much more intent. When Aneke and WIlliams came on we went up a gear again. Chuks really changes everything with his strength and awkwardness. The final thirty minutes were a joy to watch.
A convincing win after a difficult couple of weeks.
Over to you.

Gunter, Aneke, JFC and Williams were brilliant 2nd half but my MotM has to be Maddison. He looked like he's almost back to full fitness and was excellent in the free role.
Let's go!
Best I've seen us play in ages
Tommy there to see it as well
Happy days

Great result , after what looked like a depression inducing first half and half time!
Maddison was magic.
Aneke unplayable.
Williams did really well.
Look what happens when we attack and push up! I hope LB is going to stick with this system going forwards because it was great to watch.
Oh and the new VP service is top notch. There was a really great moment when TS was being interviewed and the crowd starting singing his name, he got really emotional... This guy cares.
Got to give him credit though, even before the subs we came out looking a different team that second half.
What did he change? Think he gave the full backs more license to get forwards. Which we can do when they don't have a pacey tricky winger.
Whatever he did it worked and that was actually enjoyable to watch.
Shame the defence fell asleep for a couple of minutes but something to work on.
Roll on Tuesday!
The only downside was the brief five minutes at the end of the first half which clouded a few opnions... We'd controlled the game up until that point, hadnt created much but the obvious threat was there - Washington lovely goal, but Wimbledon came forward and rightly punished us in a similar fashion to Fleetwood last month
Second half and we saw a repeat from Bowyer last week, Gilbey a bit more obvious with his removal; Bogle on the other hand a bit unfortunate given the ball got trapped under his legs but the changes were the right ones and for once it was nice to see that Bowyer didnt dither.
Forster-Caskey and Maddison the pick of the players this afternoon... Williams showing just what Bowyer's actions can do
They were proper shit tho.
- Washington
- Forster
- Caskey
- Williams
- Aneke
- Purrington
First time we've had six names on the score sheet for a while.
