Omar set to be thrown under the bus today. Won't be down to that piss tactical change by LB
If he throws Bogle under the bus, after we took the fucking lead anyway, I want him gone
But its fine for him to slag off Gilbey?
Not saying that Gilbey should be absolved of any blame, but find it ridiculous how you're so prepared to protect Bogle but happy to slate Gilbey when neither have overly impressed
And before you come out with: "But Bogle scored", dont forget, Gilbey got an assist for our second so both were involved in each of our goals today, but did little else
He hasn't ever slagged off Gilbey, is the difference
No I know, I'm saying if he does slag off Gilbey today, is that acceptable?
I ask you because you were screaming all match for Gilbey to get off but he was as effective as Bogle was today
Sorry to say Washington was rubbish, Bogle missed a sitter, sound terrible on Valley Pass. No sound at all for over 2 mins from 37 to 39mins+. Why no Johnny Williams. Piss poor subs except for Chucks. Should have won this easily, so far this season 6 points thrown away against Gillingham, Shrewsbury and Swindon. Absolutely fuming. You don't need to defend against a team like Swindon. Come back Curbs all is forgiven!
How I see it is your opponent is starting to bash down the door, it is understandable that you might want to sure things up. But Bowyer does it when they can't get near your door and invites them to have a go at bashing it down.
How many of us at home could see it coming? I reckon most of us. A desperate team only a goal behind will push for a goal. Even a totally shit one. You give them a chance if you sit back and invite pressure. You could see it with 5 to go, the ball wasn't sticking because they were pushing forward and we were sitting back.
A week after Williams has a brilliant appearance from the bench, for him to not only not start, but not to even come on as a sub is ridiculous
We looked desperately ordinary today, crying out for a bit of invention. Swindon have the worst defensive record in the division, with a more positive outlook there were goals to be had

Bogle came off because one of the best players in the League plays in his position. I don't recall Bogle giving it away for fun or being constantly outfought as Gilbey was.
I said at HT can we be pro active and get at this defence. Aneke comes on and we look better in our movement. We go 2-1 up and Lee Bowyer decides to go defensive ? But Inniss and Famewo aren't playing so corners and set pieces will be problematical so why invite pressure ?
Bizarre, at least play Jonny Williams as a sub as he was buzzing from last week if he doesn't start.
4 points dropped from Shrewsbury and Swindon. Gutted again by the strange tactics. All momentum from the 5-2 win was lost from Kick off.

Everyone saw it except the man making the crucial decisions
Are there any actual figures on how many games we've lost points on in the last ten minutes of games? It feels like so many over the last season or so.
Bowyer still has lots of credit in the bank with me but I do despair at some of his game management sometimes. Time and time again we try and see out games by being defensive and time and time again we either get lucky and scrape through, or end up dropping points. Today was no exception and as much as hindsight is a wonderful thing you could almost call exactly what was going to happen today as soon as we tried to shut up shop.
It’s just not the subs but switching Maatsen to 3 different positions as well. The poor lad looked as confused as hell. He obviously doesn’t trust Williams but he should have come on for Washington who looked ineffective today. They looked poor defensively and we should have had a higher line to pressure them late on
Great opportunity to go third with games in hand on the leaders wasted again. Soon as the linesman's extra time board starts to get ready, we go to pieces.
Met a couple of Pompey mates on my way home from work this morning who are adamant we will win this league. They said they are playing crap but keep winning.

Strange Bogle came off so early though isnt it? - Its the earliest he's been replaced apart from Burton
Bowyer cant have been happy with something about him, rather than wanting to get one of the best Strikers in the Division on...
Maybe he was just frustrated by the extremely soft effort he wasted.
I dont know, I cant truly comment until I've heard what Bowyer has to say this week
I can understand the defensive subs being made in the case where we have the one goal lead in the last moments of the game and haven't been able to kill off the game, but to do it with 20 odd minutes left is horrendous. And makes for some seriously shit watching as well.
- When making substitutions, stacking the defence and having no attackers up front means the defence will be under constant pressure. No Williams - or whoever else - to provide relief is terrible game management.

Normally you'd see me do more bullets and go through the rest of the team highlighting strengths and weaknesses, but that doesn't need to be done today. No one was particularly bad, and Watson was MOM for me. But we lacked tactical cohesion and the way we tried to defend the lead was just a tactical disasterclass from Bowyer. It is entirely on him that we have not come away with three points and while a draw away from home is not the end of the world, proper teams win this (and probably score more goals against a Swindon side that was panicking defensively).
Not happy. Bowyer's credit, while still considerable, has diminished a fair bit.
The formation change invited pressure, in exactly the way 99% of Charlton fans watching knew it would.
Piss poor game management and shit tactics are only part of the problem for me.
Swindon looked abysmal and TBH we looked almost as bad. I can't see a pattern of play and those players do not look like a happy unified bunch. We created virtually nothing.
That starting midfield is painful to watch. Pedestrian in the extreme and as I keep saying, that sets the tempo for the whole team.
Needs a big shake up IMO. How far is Shinnie away from playing as we are missing him massively? Also need Smyth back asap as he atleast gives us some pace.
Utterly depressing as it's more points thrown away. I do wonder how many more of these lack lustre performances Sandergaard will put up with.
As much as I think the squad is lacking in certain areas, Bowyer should be getting far more out of that group.

He does do some strange things sometimes. Maatsen on the right being one of them.

I'm not normally one of the LB knockers but today was 100% down to him. We had total control of the game and there was not a chance we wasnt going to win. You dont take off your midfield for defenders when in that situation. As others have said I hope he stops doing that otherwise he is just being plain stupid. I'm not even interested in his post match interview all ot will be is we have to learn how to close matches out. No Lee you need to learn mate
I still think Gilbey has a big part to play this season, but he needs a break. In fairness, I think he would be a sub if either Morgan or Shinnie were fit.

CL is in uproar!

A bigger mystery than an Agatha Christie book.

Onwards and upwards.
In fact Bowyer has surpassed himself today by actually getting into the lead after going 1-0 down and then giving it up to draw 2-2.
Good on you Bows. You're a superstar.
Terrible subs cost us again, so defensive when we should have been taking the game to them.
Just so disappointing we cant defend when teams throw everything at us.
