    If this is a typical Charlton injury and we don't replace him we could be an injury or 2 away from a relegation scrap.

    slim consolation as i think the fa cup is all we have left this year and what us to give it everything for once

    Yes agreed concerning to say the least, trouble is if they come out and say he’s out long term, the strikers we are already trying to sign will suddenly cost even more!!!, if of course we are trying for strikers, we must be I hope??!!

    This injury has come from nowhere.

    Then last week he went to a specialist over it and now jacko is saying its not straightforward.

    The fact this has come from nowhere is concerning I'm worried we won't see him for a a month/ 6 weeks earliest, but hope I'm wrong or we are screwed.

    Need 2 strikers to sign now

    I guess if true we’ll see if it’s TS’s intentions to get out this league soon or not.  We have to buy now simple as that or plan for next season.

    Without Stockley and Washington, we are at risk of getting out of this league in the wrong direction...

    The non descript language being used is signposting that this isn’t a simple injury. Think he’ll be out for at least a couple months.

    also probably means that Chuks alone shouldn’t be our only striker signing this month.

    As happy as I would be to get Aneke for a loan (can't see it), we aren't moving forwards with signing robust / injury free players who can play 90 minutes twice a week.

    Well let's hope the source was Jacko's father-in-law, since what he says turns out to be as reliable as the average pronouncement from Boris Johnson (e.g 'Jacko doesn't get on with Euell, and that's the hold-up").

    Need two strikers in now then. We need a permanent striker to provide competition and an alternative, and we'll probably need to get a loan in for a physical forward to replace Stockley

    Aneke, Ronnie, Jayden - I'd say we need 3 (in an ideal world, which as we know, it isn't!), move on Davison and send Burstow out on loan for experience against further lumps like Hanley.

    I can just imagine the treatment some L1 defenders will be dishing out to Jayden. With his short fuse, it doesn't bode well. 

    We miss him hugely. A good player.

    Yeah, it was tweeted he was in the gym at Sparrers 10 minutes ago.
