Utterly appalling. A flaccid and vacuous performance against a
bang-ordinary team – we mustered just two shots in the entire game,
neither of which was on target. Pitiful.
Blackpool were
playing keep-ball at the end. After 30 consecutive passes, we
intercepted – and lost possession with the second pass. That
speaks volumes. Our approach play is pedestrian and plodding –
there is no spark or surprise, no flash of danger. Apart from
Millar. Poor Jaiyesimi made wrong decisions when advancing; he’s
been Charltonised already.
Amos has become a
liability within just a few games; witness the innocuous shot late in
the second half that he fluffed for a corner. The second penalty
seemed harsh; Aneke’s straight red looks justified when the elbow
is seen in slow motion.
Almost zero chance
of the play-offs. We are shyte.
Up until 2.45pm I WAS NOT GOING TO SPUNK A TENNER ON THIS SHIT.
But I did, can't help supporting this crock of shit although I wish I could.
I simply cannot remember a time in my 56 years supporting the Club where we've had a worst team. Clueless, spineless, incompetent (from the team management down) and totally lacking any semblance of a team.
We will survive this season but any hope of promotion has gone completely. We need a new management team NOW and their task will be to not give much of a toss about the rest of this season - they need to get rid of the dead wood (80% of the squad) and rebuild.
And on cue Bowyer turns up and blames the ref. For Fucks Sake - we were shit, Pratley deserved the second yellow (maybe even a straight red offence). Take some fucking responsibility man - then FUCK OFF.
I’ll pay another tenner on Tuesday because I feel a loyalty to TS rather than to the players. I’m just not looking forward to watching on Tuesday.
Scott Minto asking how we turn this around. Bowyer saying you have to look at who's constantly at fault during games, and suggests he's already decided who that is, but doesn't say who.

So will I - it's an involuntary act.
And it's not something a vaccination can help you with.
“Where do you start? We give them goal head start with a simple ball” ”After that the officials kill us. Jayden goal was onside. Pratley second yellow harsh. Chuks red too. We got nothing from them. We’ll contest Chuks red” ”second goal was disappointing. Runs for 20 yards with nothing. Not good enough” ”Game over after Prats red” ”Wasn’t much in first 45. Horrible first 45 for both sides. They were a little bit better”
Bowyer continued;
“Second penalty. He just dived on the floor. Officials have to be accountable too. We’ll get an apology for Chuks red. But it doesn’t help us now” ”Wingers had no impact on the game from either side. Didn’t think they impacted the game. That’s why I made the changes” ”Massive blow if we lose Chuks for 4 games. Hope they’ll look back and change this though” ”People get opportunities. They have to grab these opportunities. Players not in a good place at the moment. Results aren’t going our way. They look nervous.” ”We have to look at why are there people constantly at fault for goals. Constantly giving opportunities away to opposition. That’s happened again today. So can’t keep playing that player” ”Pick the best 11. But they can’t physically go Saturday Tuesday Saturday” ”Have to bring out a player if they’re conceding goals. Same if a striker isn’t doing things at other end”
I take your point and am delighted he has taken over ownership of the club, but he should have made the change weeks ago and not doing so has almost certainly cost us any chance of going up this season.

Cant really out himself on camera
He was happy enough to name Washington in his criticism.
That is a load of crap... He should be coming out going mad at Pratley there
And yet when he did that at Williams and Maddison there were entire threads devoted to how he'd lost it calling out his own players and how damaging it could be. There were plenty then talking about how Alex Ferguson would deflect onto refs and opposition players after the games and then handle discipline or performance issues in-house, and wonder why Bowyer couldn't do the same. I don't honestly know what people expect Bowyer to say in these post-match press conferences. He'll feel like he went into the game with a plan and the players didn't execute it. He's not going to take the blame every game because no manager does that. Maybe here and there, but if every week you blame yourself you just invite more criticism. He can either dig out the players or focus on something else, and either way he'll get grief for it. Just highlights the pointlessness of managers having to talk to the press immediately after a game really.
He said Washington had an opportunity to stake a claim for a place in the team next week and he didn't take it. He used Conor as an example to make a wider point about the fact that everyone in the squad is doing the same - no-one is coming into the side and grabbing the shirt.

But it's gonna hurt.
Why can't this team go saturday , Tuesday , Saturday , Tuesday ???? Other teams can so why does he think we can't ?
He's obsessed with resting players.
Yes Lee. It is.
I’ll give you a minute to think about it.
Shinnie, Pratley, Watson, Smyth.
I'd chuck in Gilbey, Gunter, Schwartz
Yeah great recruitment.
Ain't got a clue.
